if not my comment is - i thing they should do an update that allows you to place animals in the map creator (i.e put animals in yoir own maps) and that lets you have free mode after completion of the game! this would work as you could choose whether the in game people are enemys or friendly and you can change this throughout the game. so if you like a challenge and would like to fight people in free mode then you could - or , if like me you prefer to drive around freely without being shot then you could .

I call my self old guy, I love playing far cry2, In fact I have played the games three times since I bouhgt it,going up a level each time I finish the game. I like the no time limit and the fact that you don't have to stay on the paths on the maps. I am hoping to see a FarCry 3 come out for PC soon, A lot of unanserwed questions at the end of the game in FarCry 2. I'm just an old guy who injoys your game, I am no way a computer whiz. but playing this game sure keeps me busy. Keep up the good work.

Hi all. My name is Justin and I'm from West Virginia (USA) and I play on the Xbox 360 console. I'm new here and also to the 'Far Cry' world... and still fairly new to the entire Xbox 360 world as I've only had one since this past xmas.

I just bought 'Far Cry 2', used, from GameStop on Friday and having known absolutely nothing about the series beforehand, I gotta say I was way beyond pleasantly surprised haha! It's like a guerilla-warfare-style-Grand-Theft-Auto... it's awesome!

Since this thread was labeled as 'off-topic', I guess I'll tell ya about the games I own/play.

My game collection is comprised mostly of two types of games... shooters and racers, but I like all types of games and also play/enjoy sports games as well, such as EA's 'Madden' and 'NHL' series.

I love pretty much anything in the Tom Clancy series... I've got all 'Splinter Cell's', both 'Rainbow Six Vegas' games, the first 'Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter' (almost bought the 2nd, but chose 'Far Cry 2' instead), but haven't played either 'Hawx' or 'Endwar' yet.

Same trip where I bought 'FC2', I also got the racing game, 'GRID', which is fast-becoming my favorite racing game. I also play 'PGR 3&4', the 'NFS' series, 'Forza Motorsports 2', and 'Race Pro', among others.

I also really love the 'Call of Duty' series (in order: 2/4 tied, WaW next, then 3), the 'Grand Theft Auto', 'Halo', and 'Ninja Gaiden' series' too. Also like some others like 'Gears of War', 'Call of Juarez', and 'Perfect Dark: Zero'.

Since I'm still kinda new to the whole next-gen gaming, pretty much all games released since the PS2's early days are new to me. Alot of the games I love don't have many people playing their multiplayer anymore, but still lots of achievments for me to work towards. If anyone wants to play co-op or multiplayer on any of the games I mentioned above, feel free to add me as a friend. My GamerTag is: JMCatrow.
