Hey does anyone know wat this error id is cuz when i try to play some guys video on this site on widows media player 10 its says the codec cannot be installed.ive copiied the whole page so u can examine it---C00D119A: Cannot play the file

Typically, the Player automatically downloads and installs required codecs as needed. However, the Player was unable to download and install the required codec for this file, most likely because a codec is not available for the content that you want to play, or because the Internet security settings for your browser are set too high and do not allow you to download the codec.

Try adjusting your Internet security settings to allow codecs to be downloaded to your computer.

The file that you are trying to play might not be supported by Windows Media Player. For a list of file types (formats) that are supported by Windows Media Player, see Supported file types.
To allow codecs to be downloaded to your computer
In Control Panel, click Internet Options.
Click the Security tab, and then click Internet.
In the Security level for this zone area, click Default Level.
The security level is set to Medium.

I played FarCry so many times, I began counting the bushes and trees.
I wrote the FC Walkthrough, along with Fabulouscoops.
Played my first computer game in 1974. Today, you'd call it "Sims". It was an Army project. You managed a town, decided on budget, what to build what to fix. A card punch operator would enter our data overnight, and the next morning we would watch a prepared newscast with the consequences of our fiscal decisions. I'd say we've come a ways since then.

Former Army Officer in Transportation Corp, pilot, and trained as a RECONDO in 1970.

Qualified as expert in M-16 M-49 Grenade Launcher, .45 cal,and M-60 Machine Gun; but it means nothing when aiming with a mouse!
