The RVS OTF stopped being interesting the moment the right wingers overran the left wingers, the balance was tipped, and debate gave way under the sheer weight of barbaracism. I had some good times reading some of the posts over on that board (many of them incredibly informative and truly interesting). I bet Demon Mustang is still trying to pretend he's an adult, or that kimi is actually female? MisterNiceGuy holding the liberal fort with his links to a gloriously biased article, holding his silent vigil with the hyperlink? Slackbladder joining the fray with an irreverent comment and an amusing story - or perhaps Gandalf offering his delightfully informed opinion? A special mention must also go to Geist, truly a gentleman and completely ruthless in an argument - and Hornet, the complete opposite of him. You've got to love his determination, even if his rabid conservative loyalty is completely misplaced.
Good times, bad times, wasted times. I wish I had all the time I wasted over there back. Do yourselves a favour - OTF is like the seventh circle of hell. Time stands still while you are sucked in by it's allure of cheap thrills and easy laughs, but rest assured, when it's over, you'll wish you had something to show for it - instead of a few battle scars and an intimate knowledge of what people believe are American politics...
i agree mostly... however the cost of fire retardent materials these days is high so monkeys on the flames would probalby be the best option- remeber buy them young n they burn alot better
