To all Publishers: Why Steam?

Well' I have been a Computer Gamer since the Apple II and I have had to update my system every 6 month or purchase a newer system depending on how fast and how much Games have evolved (Currently I need to build a newer system, something with PCIe X16).

Buying games on Disk (CD/DVD) was fine at one time' but I have had a job were I travel to a new location every 4 to 12 month now for 3 years and dragging around a bunch of disk can be a real pain (it's difficult enough dragging a mid tower desktop and 19in LCD screen around).

So even though I have many games from your company on CD or DVD, I have been replacing them with the Steam Down loaded versions, just as I'm sure many of you have replace all your VHS tapes for DVD's. (I have been giving the Disk versions to my Daughters Fiancée).

I would rather have a second large 500 GB hard drive, just for my Valve/Steam folder (currently over 300 GB) then drag a bunch of disks around.

Also because I'm in a traveling job it's kind of neat to be able to show off my collection of games through the Steam community (in The Steam Community tab just search for "cap10marvell").

I jump at deals on Steam, if it is an exceptional deal' I will even purchase these great deal games for friends and family, I am patent and I do wait for games to go on sale, especially if they are currently cheaper then in store on disk.

Considering there is no Packaging, Disks or any other Physical Material involved with selling a game on Steam, Publishers need to price their products below current market value of store retailers (Get your marketing people to get off their butt's and have them do some pricing research and then start being really competitive).

Its much better to sell a bunch of games online (with no Physical Material cost) at a price that's cheaper and more competitive with the store bought CD/DVD which does have a Physical Material cost. Give consumers a real reason to purchase games online over the in store purchase.

Steam is a great way to purchase birthday, holiday or graduation presents for the ones we care about.

Game Copulations or Complete collections of games from a Publisher, I will quickly purchase even if I might only ever just play half of the games I purchased.

Now a letter an Individual Publishers: Ubisoft

Ubisoft offers the best WWII Submarine Simulators; the Silent Hunter package was a great price and has been awesome.

Kudos' for being the first Software Publisher on Steam to offer: Flight Simulators.

Now why are you selling "Pacific Fighters" at $19.99 on Steam at the same time that you are selling "Il-2 Sturmovik: 1946" for only $9.99? This is just stupid' because Pacific Fighters is included with "Il-2 Sturmovik: 1946", maybe your marketing people meant to sell "Heroes of the Pacific" which is not part of, or included in "Il-2 Sturmovik: 1946"

Great idea selling all the "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon" games as a complete package deal' that was something I could not pass up'

Now how about putting a together a "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Games Complete Package" I'll buy it' when you sell it'

Other thoughts maybe a Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Game Package or a Prince of Persia game Package.

You should also offer "Lock On: Modern Air Combat Gold" in your Steam line up of Games.

Also' I'm sure Cold Fear is a great game, but because the game is a single player game and it was released in 2005 and it has a Metascore of only 66, at $19.99 it is overpriced, to see if it could be a better seller you should convince the Developer Darkworks to allow you to put it on half price sale for just 1 weekend, this way people will buy it and play it and tell others in the Steam community to buy it, although most will wait for it to go back down to $9.99 (were it should be).

Well I look forward to Buying the "Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Games Complete Package" when you put it out, keep up the great work.
