I hope they can get this game on the 360. As far as tactical shooters go for consoles they are lacking big time, especially if GRAW/GR leaves the ground arena and heads to the skies, which by the looks of things they are.

!. I stay away from forums because of the koolaid drinkers. No matter what Jim Jones is their hero.
2. They have no engine as of yet (which is on their site you can look that up)
3. Renders and concept art is all you see (per their news letters and pics on site in the forums section. ( i know mod devs who have more in a fracture of the time.
3. Im sorry I misstated they have been around for Only 2 years (which you all suggest its alot longer) And if that is the case they are closer to being a Duke Nukem Forever than a actual game. Well that isn't fair to DNF because they have more than renders....

Because I don't live my life in a forums doesn't mean I don't read em but commenting on them is almost futile. I stand by my statement. and if you can show anyone here some ingame footage or a pic in their forums that they now have an engine at least i'll amend my statement to reflect it. But im sorry if im not impressed by someones skills in 3d Max and Photoshop.

I could care less if BFS got a publisher. I would buy it via digital distribution if worse came to worse.

FYI, the owner is a former RSE/Ubi dev. He was the guy behind the levels from R6 to GR.

so let me get this straight i'm full of **** because he's... a map maker? OMG that clears it all up i was totally wrong. It will be the best thing since sliced bread. Hey pass me that cup of koolaid will ya Smile Also I think he made a COUPLE of maps not all of them as you would have people believe.

I belive he was the lead map maker, and GB does have an engine they just can't reveal it yet. BFS hasn't been working on the game since they started. They started out by doing work for other games. As to your comment about it having to be bad to get rejected by other companies, publishers will only take games that they think will make alot of money. The tactical shooter genre has a pretty small market. No tactical shooter will ever compete with COD4. So, why don't you go play Halo 3 or maybe even one of those "Tactical shooters" like Vegas 2.

Well dang here I thought I was playin all the good stuff. Is Halo 3 any good? hey if I said I play VBS1 does that count as a Tactical Shooter? I actually consider it a MilSim but whatever you wanna call it it's all gaming right? I own a few others as well but I would have to get an approved list of "tactical shooters" from you before I would mention some. To save face of course. Hey what flavor koolaid you drinkin?

Is there any reason your being a troll? You obviously don't know anything about Ground Branch, but that doesn't stop you from bashing it. Not all of us can spend $2,000 on a video game.

Wait who is bashing it? it has to exist as a product to bash it. Now do I say it is non existent? yes I do. And if this is bashing you need a reality check. All I am saying is this whole Gb thing sounds like a crock. I mean dont listen to me go look on their site. If you were to judge them by their progress their isn't any and as for "ingame" footage I haven't seen any and those drawings look just like drawings. Like I said prove me wrong. They are Quoting a Holiday 2008 release date but the best we have seen yet is some 3dMax semi rendering?

The First Review Of GB.
http://www.simhq.com/_land3/land_101a.html

A small note re any engine being used.

Any information release with game engine in mind is down to the Developer of the engine.

Engine and information is normally slow or not at all during game production.

Also finance dictates many aspects of how information is released.

The news letters have a lot of information in them, also the forums, how many players, equipment, game types, and all sorts of other good information.

One or 2 members have also seen video footage but this not public.

Best option is to make your own mind up by visiting the studio forum.
