i'm pretty mad that i haven't seen a ghost recon book. I own all the splinter books, rainbow six and endwar. Has anyone hard if David Micheals is working on GR book? Thanks.

There was an attempt several years ago by a fan to undertake writing a book based on GR, but it is wrought with hassles and legal hurdles. Remember, David Michaels did not write R6, Tom Clancy did. Clancy has no interest in a book on GR from what I have read.

Actually, he has no interest in Ghost Recon (or the game company he founded) at all, with the exception of his Royalty check and he has said so publicly. He hasn't taken any interest in 'his' games at least since the time the original Ghost Recon came out and probably before that.

Well, you just might get your Ghost Recon book, after all, but Tom won't be writing it. Tom Clancy, has recently sold the rights to his name to UBIsoft. They can make Tom Clancy's fashion studio now if they want and Clancy doesn't even have to give tacit approval.
