most of you probably have heard about this game.
today a new SITREP about the next version was released. How about 9-player Co-Op against enemy AI? sometimes your team might be outnumbered 5:1, and it's not only MOUT (urban combat) check out This Place for more information. I loaded that AA puppy up a couple of days ago.
It's not to badly done. It runs a big laggy though. They should have used the OpenGL API. The game is ok but game play is very slow. It's somewhat boring. I will still try to get interested in it by playing it for the next few days. We shall see how it goes. There are a few new games to come out at year end and beginning of next year. Slow and boring ?.... what part of AA was you playing ? AA is fast paced with some great nail biting action . It runs like a dream on my PC with fps between 85 and 100 and i never get a single bit of lag ( video or connection ) Muhad .. If you have only just started playing i dout you have realy seen AA in full action . Have you done ALL the training yet ? It makes GRAW look stupid . The overmatch (2.7 )is not out yet but is shaping up to be a great co-op version of AA . Im still in shock that you said its slow and boring  |

maps like SF Arctic and Taiga can be slow, that's because of the wide open ranges. perfect for sniping. everyone just finds a nice cosy place and lie down
maps like McKenna and Urban Assault, however, are usually over in a matter of minutes can't wait for 2.7..... |

probably the most basic, but i like missions like Bridge crossing a lot too ...
on the other hand pipeline (when you have to protect the valves) is fun too .... there is one thing I hate in AA : you always look as the same army, whether team you join.... OK might make sense, but in a way it does not. haha not that GRAW teams look ANY different in domination ....  at least in AA you can notice the different gearMy rig: PC-XT 8Mhz, 640K ram onboard, 2x360K Floppy, Hercules GC, Model M input device |

AAO and GR1 came out at about the same time way back.
We went with AAO due to the LACK OF PROPER SERVER SUPPORT FOR GHOST RECON 1. Déjà Vu ? Needless to say, both games are great. But as stated above, the game is always in beta. It will never be done. It does not run as smooth as it could if a true dev team were working on it for four years now but you get what you pay for, right? =) SERVER FILES OR DEATH. |

I haven't tried it for a few years, it didn't seem that bad last time I did. Try Brothers in Arms for some horrible propaganda. Unplayable drivel. |

lol, if you really think that ill let you revel in your ignorance, after all they do say ignorance is bliss. but consider the fact that you always and can only play as the americans, consider the fact that if you want to play certain classes you have to take actual tests on military ROE, and consider the fact that none of these 'real life scenarios' have never happened, and likely never will. also, if you really think the black and white picture of the world that AA paints is accurate, i just feel sorry for you. oh and propoganda has nothing to do with fiction or fact, it can harbor both. propoganda is essentialy exagerated fact, presented in a biased manner without displaying the other points of view. *gets back on the soap box* its nice up here thanks, i dont wanna get down for future reference though, dont throw around words when you dont know what they mean... dictionary.com is your friend

I must agree! I have noticed that CAMPING is huge in that game. I am not against camping but when almost all are doing it, well game is seriously slow going. lol To many kids in it. |

this is probable the slowest pase game ive ever played, depending on the map it can be borring also, the only maps that are any good are the sf pipeline, bridge crossing, and weapons cashe se other than that the game isnt that good.
