paintball doesnt hurt that bad....unless someone has a really hot gun(well over 300fps).

they'll leave bruises,even break the skin at times.but they're not that bad.i played in a t-shirt/shorts alot when it was really hot out.

we played in some pretty cold weather...the only time ive seen frozen paint was when someone had put some in the freezer.

combine frozen paint and a hot gun....thing could get real nasty.

If you guys check out Warfighters, you'll find something that combines the best bits of paintball and airsoft but adds in a whole lot more to the mix.

With airsoft it's milsim but if it's windy you're not going to hit anything and if you do hit someone they can just ignore it and pretend it didn't. Paintball doesn't go as far but you can prove that someone got hit. With Warfighters you've got a range of hundreds of yards and you will always 'kill' someone if you hit them - there is no way you can pretend you didn't get hit.

At this point, I personally prefer airsoft because it is the cheapest. And since I don't play all that much, I don't want to spend a bunch of money on something I wont use much.

Airsoft definitely; I have used one and it is fun to use, and paintball is too messy. Velocity Airsoft>Paintball. Airsoft is also much cheaper. Only con: Get shot when five feet away= OUCH.

That's why games are supposed to enforce velocity minimum distance engagements.

My dad owns a store that sells everything excluding paintball. My dad owns wisconsin airsoft wars. On his website, www.wisconsinairsoftwars.com I go do the BDU-Clothing/Rothco. Besides that, I own a M15A4 w/ Grenade Launcher and SOC16(Also known as a M14 Scout). The all shot over 500 fps because of the upgrades to the original gears inside it.

People that play paintball, i respect you, but AIRSOFT IS BETTER PEOPLE. I can say this because i have been shot with a paintball gun.

Airsoft pierced the skin, chipped the bb and left part of it in my arm until i picked it out

I've gotten hit so many times in the skin, it doesn't hurt. But the worst place to get shot(And will hurt) is in between the fingers.

y would you be so dumb to shoot pointblank at a gun with 300fps. if you wouldn't be so dumb and play by the rules it won't hurt. when u break the rules it will hurt.

Okay, lets sum it up. I have done both equilly, most who airsoft, are not ALOUD to paintball, so they cry about the price, they CRY about the unrealistic guns. Until you have paintball you have not lived the adrenalin rush is much reater than that of airsoft, paintball is also much more even, no electric crap, no spring crap, just C02 and N02, much more even WHO GIVES A CRAP ABOUT LOOKS?!! Paintball is sooo much more fun! So get out there, AND PAINTBALL!!!!!

And BTW paintball hurts worse, no comparison, does not matter the fps jus get shot with paintball and you will see what I mean.

BS!!! paintball is painful they have much more inertia because of theyr mass, I am in advanced physics I know what I am talking about... stupid noob

Well how about a 450fps sniper rifle airsoft gun. That hurts way more then PAINTBALL dude. I drove through my bone. but airsoft you can pull funnier things like shooting some1 up the nose(I did that and have a witness).
