A new film by me
This was originally inspired by an on going debate in the forums regarding a particular move being used in combat

1. Right click and "save as"
2. Divx 5.1.1
3. Music up!
5. Seatbelt fastened
6. If you have a heart condition consult with your doctor first!

I've watched this, and it fecking rocks!!! That manoeuvre I saw, I was luck, "huh?? how he do that??" then I figured "oh, must be lag or something", then I saw the manoeuvre again, and then again, and then again. Then I thought "what the hell!!!! How the feck did he do that stuff!!! Man, that is a cool stunt!!!"

That there may be the BEST movie EVER!! THAT IS ABSOLUTELY FRIGGEN UNBELEIVABLE!!!! THAT WAS amazing!!! You made a perfect movie of the plane i adore, and used its capabilities perfectly. THis video may be the only video that does the FLAnker justice and shows LOMAC's graphics PERFECTLY!!!!! I cannot express how much i appreciate this movie, i loved the editing, colors, flying, action, stunts, music, and time it took to make it!

THe cobra followed by missle shots were amazing, and would proabaly make any eagle pilot shove their throttles to full afteruburner...towards HOME!

When he was sending me rendered clips to look at I was blown away. Then he made me watch the flick w/him on comms, we started at the same time. He was laughing his (u know what) off cuz all I could say was "wow", "sick", "OMFG" (the long version) and stuff like that.

I told him last nite on comms that I was proud of him, he's my road dog till the wheels fall off.

Very Nice! Really liked the maneuvers!

LOCsta...I see you use Sony's Vegas 4.0! Nice....did you use any other programs, or Plug-ins along with Vegas 4.0 to get all the affects we see in this video? I just order Vegas 5.0.....YES!!!

Very well done...I will agree with "dobberman 21" this movie is one of the very best LOMAC video's I've seen to date! Mind you...there are some very movies that have been produce here!!

I love all the missle launches.....really cool lookin'....I myself play IL-2 Forgotten Battles mostly. Because I don't play LOMAC as of yet...the question I have.

Is it too hard to use your cannons once you are on the enemies six position? I love missle attacks but it would be also cool to see some cannon fire also. Or again is it too hard to your cannons in this game?

You will really enjoy vegas 5.0. It is very user friendly, and has alot of options. I didn't use any additional editting software.
Just run clips through once individually to finalize w/ effects, etc., and then once again during for the final project. The audio was done using sonar and I wouldn't recommend it, but I did every sound in the film individually from the lockon/sounds folder
In hind sight it was to labor intensive for the end result.
As to firing guns....that is completely dependant on your skill level, and that of your opponents. If you have the ability to put the piper exactly where you want, you should be able to hit them with guns.

Great movie. That was a lot of Cobra maneuvers.

I just have one question. What is the name of the song at the very beginning and at the very end (with the guitar and drums). In the credits I saw "Andre Nickatina - Love for tha Game." Is this correct?

I looked online and I could not find any songs by that name that are by Andre Nickatina. Where did you find this song? I really like it and I wouldn't mind hearing the whole thing and maybe some similar songs.

Depending on what you're looking at the song is either "Love for tha Game" or "Rise and Fall of a Rap Cat" by Ande Nickatina aka Dre Dog
I have to warn you though....that song is very misleading as to his music. It is underground rap from the bay area. If you like it, I would also recommend you check out RBL Posee, IMP, and Totally Insane.

Yeah, some of the songs I did find by this group sounded like they were about "Gangsta Life." There were a lot of misspelled (on purpose) song titles. I don't like rap music that much. I usually like rock, heavy metal, and alternative music. But I do appreciate some good guitar playing every once in a while.

i have shown this clip to a lot of people so far - also to non-simmers they would not believe that all scenes are actual gameplay footage ok well slightly enhanced with vegas etc. but still ...

so the big questions to bSr.L()Csta:

what hardware was used to make that movie - even if visually enhanced i sense you must have quite a rig so please could you post your hardware or the hardware which was used to make that movie.

LOC only makes it here every third day so I'll answer for him. He's running a P4 3.2, 1 gig (Kingston I think) 3200 DDR, 9800xt, Audigy 2, 2x Raptor SATA Drives in Raid 0 config.

For the record, you can record at that high of a quality using the AVI in game renderer. It renders at one frame at a time, thats what both of us do when we're making our movies.

The skin was made by Aquarious and I'm not sure if it a "public" skin or not? It was a modification from another all black flanker skin someone had made for the Su-27.

I have like 50 log-in variations of LOCsta and I have tried to get this resolved with customer support but it aint happen'n. I just re-installed my OS and lost my login settings on the forum, again. When I go to log in it tells me I have the wrong password , user name, etc. So I had to creat another one
The only problem is that I'm running out of variants for LOCsta
