I have been trying to record using the AVI recorder in v 1.01. I have not upgraded because of the feedback from the forums that suggest in v 1.02 track playback may vary from what was recorded. I would stick with 1.01, but the "view switching" bug in the AVI recorder is giving me problems. Any advice from those of you who are working on a movie in v1.02? FRAPS is not an option for me (even in slo-mo) because of hardware constraints.

I have used the AVI Recorder for my new movie. It is also with the new patch, as long as you use the Huffy codecs it will record the exact angles for you.

I haven't had any problems with v1.02 as regards movie making...
I myself recommend it in fact!
