HI all supporters of LOMAC an to all movie makers.

Iâ´m very interested in making a decent movie about lomac. I have all that i need, Vegas 5.0, a lot of patient, avi tool incorporated to game, and DrDivx encoder. But iâ´m very frustated with the edition inside lomac tracks. The most important problem is what the hell i can move de camera free, instead of turning around my plane. Itâ´s difficult to explain but i want to know if in lomacâ´s view key commands could provide me an option to choose a free movement camera all around the plane or object that are active in view, instead this locked turn around view.

Looking at Glowing Amraamâ´s videos all of us can see the location of cameras in free positions under the wings at very near distance of the ground without limitations. This is the key combo that i need and if somebody out there can help me, they would receive my best cibernetic embrace.

One last thing, i was reading the entire movie makers forum and was impossible to find something similar about my question.

There are more key commands available than are evident from the printed guide. I would advise you go into the key config in the options and search there. There is a way to rotate from a reference piont instead of around an object. I think it is esc or shift esc from the external view. Once you choose the external veiw, hit keypad 5 to center up on the default angle so the sim knows where to start

This key combo Shift-ESC is just what i need. But for all people that are in same troubble with camera position i find in other forum a tip that complete this combo key. You must edit the view.cfg archive inside Config/view/view.cfg and put a 0 in the line camera terrain restriction.

Also you must edit in the same folder the archive view.lua and in the same line write false instead true. And voilá, camera settings where you want.

hi there,
i just saw the latest vid of the STE crew, i think it was the 7th movie. My question is, how did they get the fixed cam on the top of the Wingtip? I think they changed some cfg data to slew the standart F4 cam (which naturally is fixed). Is there any instruction how to get the camera in a fixed position at any point of the aircraft? Would be cool for some screens and stuff Wink
