I have been watching these great videos for the past few months and I love them. I think I have about 15 or 20 on my hard drive, including 2 made with the Lock On demo.

I decided to make a list of songs I haven't heard in these movies that would work great with this game.

Mars: The Bringer of War - Gustav Holst
Venus: The Bringer of Peace - Gustav Holst (maybe use this one in the aftermath of a large battle).
One - Metallica
Higher - Creed --> Can you take me higher?
Great Balls of Fire --> vocals by "Maverick" and "Goose" piano by "Goose"

I will think of some others.

You can add some songs to this thread if you like.

Some songs I thought would work:
1:Right here, right now. by Jesus Jones (for formation or airshow style vid)
2:Cocoon by JoyDrop (combat or otherwise)
3:learning to fly by Pink Floyd (Momentry lapse of reason )airshow
these are all I could think of on the spur of the moment

Thanks Andrew. I really enjoy your movies. You do a great job with classical music (Beethoven, Holst, and others). Thanks for sharing your work with all of us.

Here is one more song...

Limp Bizkit - Eat You Alive

With this song, I am thinking of an A-10 tearing (eating) up a column of tanks and some helos.

That one is done to death, not necessarily in relation to this game though.

There are so many songs that would work one way or another... most songs in fact. It all depends on context.

Guns 'n' Roses- make your pick.... Welcome to the jungle, Sweet child 'o mine, Civil war...

Deep purple- Soldier of fortune. For some slow vids (Sun breath and similar)

Prodigy-Smack my b!tch up! A nice vid with some Su's or MiG's smacking Eagles around! Mischief Rolling

Metallica-Battery. A rather short kick a.s.s. song. Maximum G style vid!

This is of the top of my head. I'm sure I will get a lot of ideas after I post this!

I ought to try writing something that would work in a vid. Might be an interesting thing to try when I get back from China.

Yeah, I really like Hans Zimmer. The movie 'Superior Fighters' by Glowing Amraam had Injection in it. That was really good. I was thinking about buying that "Mission Impossible 2" Soundtrack/Score. I heard some samples and it sounded pretty good. But I don't spend a lot of money on music.

I AM SURPRISED absolutely NO ONE has mentioned Flight of the Valkyries. This one is a classic! Even when Col. Kilgore in Apocalypse Now! played it during the helicopter run in during the movie. Cant forget the Flight of the Valkyries. And Col. Kilgore prolly said it best when he said "I love the smell of napalm in the morning. It smells like......victory."

And this one time, in boot camp, I stuck a rifle up my...
