Hello,
my first post here this is my first attempt to create my own movie. my first movie. i'm new to movie-making and video-editing in general. i have watched several movies by other members...awesome job guys!!! i'm using Vegas 4 (i'm still in the learning mode)... one movie i watched has that cool "motion effect": pilot ejects from the plane and the camera seems to lose its focus and it shakes (timeline: 3:28sec). the movie i'm talking about is "superior_fighters". how was this achieved? is there a special filter used? or some other advanced techniques were used? thanks for all replies. |

Hello, i made that movie "superior fighters", glad you liked it
I used a blur effect in that shot. I keyed in when the picture was going to blur. I did frame by frame in that scene so i could see when the blur should begin. Play around with keying, easy way to learn with vegas __________________________ |

Hello,
thank you for your reply. few more questions, hope you don't mind what "blur" effect did you use? (there are few available in version 4.0) did you get that motion effect by playing around with the keyframes? *those diamond-shaped objects* zoom in/out, move the big F window left/right? on the subject of codecs... i do not have DivX (i dont want any spyware just for the sake of movie). i guess that's the best compressor around. i have "Xvid MPEG-4 Codec". i heard it's good. what's your opinion on that? approximately what size (MB) will i get for a 5min movie with res of 352*240? |
