Just thought I'd mention this in case others hadn't noticed yet. Before when you edited views they often weren't recorded properly. Now everything I've tried seems to work. It means that the inbuilt avi recorder is now very useful indeed.

The AVI maker is now a very useful tool though, I'd certainly consider using it in the future. But I still like the speed and accessibility of Fraps. Besides, I paid good money for the darned thing, so I *have* to use it :-)

After tinkering around last week - Ive more respect for you movie makers... whats starts off good in my head is often harder to get onto the video... Ill keep trying though

Just thought I'd betetr mention that while I do know the trk editing works very well, I haven't actually tested the AVI maker yet. No doubt there's a bug or two lurking somewhere to spoil the party... there usually is :-)

You have a codec on your machine that LOMAC doesn't like. I had Huffy and it conflicted. One of the codec packs that's popular also has a codec that causes the crash. I don't recall which offhand. I have the SLD codec pack and it works fine. I recommend uninstalling whatever codec packs you have installed and try that one. Uninstall Huffy too.
