I suppose I ought to mention this here as the historical home of LOMAC movie making. Students of the movie scene may be interested. :-)

Someone asked me if I could produce a copyright-free version of my recent movie so it could go on a magazine cover disk without upsetting lawyers.

...because the original was built around the music tracks I chose, which dictates the times of scene lengths etc. But the sound effects were boosted fairly successfully, mainly to try and drown out my lame-o-tronic backing muzak. ;-)

I did try it with no music at all, but you need *something* to connect up the scenes. It's tough trying to write film music though. Maybe that's why the successful folk get paid rather a lot and I once earned nothing whatsoever busking! :-)

Anyway, if this does go on a coverdisk (I won't name the title until it happens, just in case it doesn't) it'll be an interesting development... though it'd have been better if it was a movie of a plane you can actually fly in LOMAC.

I'm afraid the Su-27 gets my vote every time, but the Tornado has a very nice, brutal look to it, especially that huge, distinctive tail. It's the aircraft's low level, high speed tactics, and interesting range of ordinance that drew me towards it.

Sadly those low level tactics have proven to be rather out-dated thanks to improvements in ground to air weapons, but I still want ED to add the JP233 to its weapon load and allow the AI to fly at 50' without losing their nerve! :-)
