ive been thinking for a while now about how cool it would be if someone made a movie by combining clips from different games.

a modern-day war movie would be awesome.. with planes flying (LOMAC), special forces storming an enemy facility (Americas Army), and maybe some ground battles from BFV (cant think of a better game at the moment). the possibilities are endless. you guys can think of other games that can provide REALISM along with nice, realistic graphics (realistic graphics are needed to reduce contrast between the games, making it appear more like a real movie rather than a bunch of games slapped together).

i am just throwing out an idea here that i think would be cool. if this gets enough people interested though and they want to start such a project, i'd love to participate.

I was thinking of doing something like that. I'd like to be able to put in clips of the pilots running to their aircraft and such.

Mark Fountan did a first step in his 09/11/2005 movie:

some clips from Eurofighter Typhoon, talk from Black Hawk Down, satellite from Enemy Of The State etc.

Been thinkin about this myself, but not sure what game would match...

But T-bone and I are working on the next movie for the F-15 Campaign, and we "hired" a guy to make voices for the movie.

i was toying with the idea a while back, the otehr game being driv3r (driver 3 to give it its non lame name) i was gonna have a car chase, might still do it next semester (the bad reviews put me off the game)

problem is lock on is SOOOOOO damn good for making films, it has most camera angles you need (apart from dolly's and cranes, but you can improvise them using humvees as cameras and stuff) that everyother game fails by comparison
