Hi everyone!

Now, that I have time again I'd like to finish my movie that was stored on many cds for 5 months. I have recorded about 9 gig of avi files for a 4min 29 sec movie. It is only about half way done.
I just put everything back on the hard drive and everything works except I don't get any sound after AVI recording. I used to get sound, and I can't figure out what might be the problem.
I'm using the 1.02 version of the game and the game's AVI recording feature. Please help!

In your soundcard control panel change your microphone input to "What you hear" or something similar.

Well, the problem might be somewhere there. For some reason my computer doesn't recognize the microphone. I get an error message that says the computer can not detect voice make sure the microphone is connected. Well, it is connected.

I have a sound blaster live 24bit soundcard.
Any idea?

Pull up the SB control panel. On the right side there is an input, change it to "What you hear". I don't have that card but most SB cards can record sound that way.

you might just try and start your computer with the mic/speakers unplugged and render a clip, see if that gets you sound? Thats what i have to do

I tried many things nothing worked. Finnally I uninstalled the sound card driver and reinstalled it from its cd. That did not help. I updated the driver, but that did not fix it either. I still cuold not get sound after avi recording, so I uninstalled the driver again and let the install shield wizard to find a softwere. It works now. What I don't get is the driver that is being used now is the same that I have on the sound card's cd. One day I'm gonna get a stroke because of my computer's issues.

Glad to see you finally got it sorted. The biggest problems I've had w/my rig are sound drivers............
