Hey I just got Vegas 6.0 and I want to know what settings do you guys have on when editing and converting videos.
First, that jiggle effect when a plane flies past is done through Vegas, could someone provide a link where I can download that little add-on? 2.) Glowing Amraam, you always have the fancy blur effect in your movies, could you tell me how to do that? That’s like Photoshop within Vegas 6.0 which is awesome. 3.) When you convert the file to a windows media player (or .avi file) what settings do you use? Like uncompressed, compressed…etc. In the meantime I’ll read up on the manual. Any help would be appreciated! |

I have the same questions too. However, question #2 is something I might know. With the several video effects in vegas you can find many tricks that change colors, brightness, contrast etc...
Try these video FXs: color curves brightness and contrast glow lens flare black and white There are presets that you can try or just adjust the colors until you like what you get. You can add as many FXs as you want to the same media. In order to get those beautiful pictures that you can see in Glowing Amraam's videos I think you have to use several different effects. I'm still a beginner with vegas too, so it would be nice to hear what the pro says. |

Looks like nobody uses vegas, and the pro doesn't say anything either.
I just found this velocity feature. Right-click a video event, choose Insert/Remove Envelope from the shortcut menu, and then choose Velocity from the submenu to add a velocity envelope to the event. Moving the green line up or down changes the frame rate. Wow, I'm having fun! |
