When I record using the built-in avi, I get no sound included in the result avi. I can here the sound during the sound compiling. I also tried other format and settings, but nothing. Using fraps will give me sound, but I preferred the built-in avi.

Can anyone help me?

ih , ill try to help u since no one responded.

it happens to all of us , and its not ur fault.

windows sometimes unchecks this setting.

double click on that Speaker icon in bottom right of Windows , or goto controlpanel and choose sounds/devices.


goto options/properties/recording.

now look for master or "what U hear"(if u have an creative card)

if its un checked then check it.

once checked then capture programs should include the sound. the AVI-recorder and fraps should all have sound now when u record them

Unchecked everything in the 'master volume' dialog and still no go. I have no sound problem while playing a game or while its recording. Its the final avi output file that I cannot get a sound from. I can here sound from other avi, ie. fraps output, but not from the Locon built-in avi.

did u goto the "recording page" and then check everything ?
