Good movie, good selection of music and editing. Especially liked the cross overs. Few questions: 1.Why did you all fire a flare on the ground at the beginning? 2.How long did it take to get in that four plane manouver and how long did you hold it because it looked like you were going over oceans and continents trying not to loose that formation and ideally it would be used at airfields for airshows not for fish to see at sea? 3.Is everybody in your squadron elite pilots?

Sgt_IC Thanks for your comments. The answers are... 1)The flare emulates the blast of smoke that the real Blues pop before taxiing. 2)That movie was made from clips taken around March 04, and we had only been flying for a short time. The idea was to have the "show" based around the airfield which is loacated on the coast (many Blues shows are over water). Believe me, we are much better now - you'll have to wait for the 2nd movie to see what I mean! 3) Not sure of your definition of elite pilots, but I used to fly jets in the USMC, and all the others are awesome sim pilots. It takes much practice, dedication and discipline to even get the Diamond formation through a loop, let alone some of the burst manoevers. Hope that helps

HEY Kato..HEY Alias..how are you guys doing...we are getting close to releasing our mod and we are still looking for members to make the video...hope it turns out like your guys' vid did! "The legend of the Thunderbird is an ancient myth that survives even to the present day in some Native American cultures. Though the Thunderbird myth varied from region to region and tribe to tribe, the Thunderbird was, in the eyes of the ancient Native Americans, a magical animal that was sent by their gods to protect them from the powers of evil. Riding on the wings of the storm, the Thunderbird embodied the power of the storm. Its eyes flashed fire, its cry was like the crack of lightning, and its mighty wings beat with the sound of rolling thunder, ever protecting its people from the powers of evil."

Hey Silent Glad to hear the mod is coming along. I have 1st hand knowledge of how long that can take - lol. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished result. Anyway, if you need a couple of guys to help "fill out" the video, Legend and I would be glad to help. I suspect Alias would be up for it too. Let me know later

AAAHHH man that would be nice!! Thanks guys..We will see what happens with our mod and we will let you know... I'm not sure if you Blue Angel guys could handle the intensity of the Thunderbird's maneuvers... :EDIT: Not sure if you guys have seen this site yet or not but here it is...you can see hundreds of airshow videos from all over the place..of course low quality but its fun to go through and watch blue angels and tbirds shows from different locations!! http://www.stevesairshow.com/videos.html "The Thunderbird was, in the eyes of the ancient Native Americans, a magical animal that was sent by their gods to protect them from the powers of evil.
