After several requests from folks seeing the screenshots and watching us in Hyperlobby, here is our first movie.

Many thanks to AKAeric, Merlin, and mrwolf-WP- for hosting Smile

If the links go down, please feel free to host it if there are any other kind souls out there Wink2 - it's 38Mb in size

Get it here from Mr. Wolf's excellent Lockonskins site:

Sorry about the download speed, but looking at the number of people viewing the post, I suspect that several people are trying to get it at once - the usual problem when a movie is first posted.

I am just thankful that AKAeric was kind enough to host it at all since I have no way of making it available to those that want it myself.

So the best I can do is say, "thanks for your patience"

Sorry its so slow, but so many people are downloading it so you all share the speed.

5GB's worth of the movie has been downloaded in the past 12 hours. Surprised

OMG OMG OMG!!! Eek This is one of the most awaited vids i've ever wanted for LOMAC. I've been dying to see a great vid like this. Awesome flying, perfect music, great length, superb graphics, nice planning, great originality= A+. I know that took along time to make, and i've been anticipating it since you first decided to make one. Thanx for all your fellow pilots dedication, its really worth it. Bow

I hope once our group spends more time together, our teams may one day come together and fly alongside each other in a joint formation airshow. Tbirds and blue angels united! That would be phenomenal! Thanx again!

be sure to make more if possible. Wink

Absolutely perfect, hopefully the programming hackers will be able to unlock all the ai aircraft and configer them with addon cockpits weapons and effect and then lomac will truly be the pinnicle flight sim for at least the next decade and for all u people complaining about flying the ai aircraft u all need to KNOW YOUR ROLE AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH...

MAKE IT SO....

nice work guys, that was great Wink
My only suggestion would be more communications in the next one. Not sure if your flight leader uses the same slow roooolling dialague as the real ones but I bet it would be sweet none the less.

p.s. Does the recording work the same as in single player, and once the track was recorded does the editor have the option to get in all the various views in particular the cockpits of the clients, or just your own?

Wow - multiple questions! Ok, here goes...

Yes, our flight leader (Boss) Alias uses the identical slow rolling dialogue as the real Blues flight lead - it's a must for the wingmen!

We'll have him do the calls on the next video at your request, so you can hear itSmile

The recording does NOT work the same in single player. The position data of the airplanes is incorrect during playback. The only accurate track data comes from the track that the host records in a multiplayer track.

Having read through the 1.02 patch list, I'm hoping one or two of the fixes noted there might help this.

The only cockpit view you can get is from the airplane of the person recording the track - therefore with what I said above, the only accurate view is from the cockpit of the host. You can't jump views from one cockpit to the next in one track.

We have tried all recording a track in the same flight, but the only one worth having is that from the host. So the views you saw in the movie from the solos, slot, and #3 jets were tracks hosted by the guys in those jets.

Hope that helps

Wow!! Very impressive!! I especially liked the "matrix-esque" head-to-head pass. Amazing!

BTW - I have a sneaking suspician that somebody is a big Godsmack fan. Wink2
