Hello all, kinda new to the video thing. Was wondering, i have seen videos with some camera angles like that of the F2 view, except that the camer is not restricted to strictly the plane. What i mean by this is that the camera does a full 360 degree rotation but stays in the same area as that of the F2 view. Anybody know how this works? Is it something in the View.Lua file that i need to change? I've asked quite a few forums and nobody has given me any type of answer. Not even an "im sorry i don't know". ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks S!
Yea there are serveral neat camera tricks you could use in Lock On. The one you are asking about is a little tricky to control, but once you get into the F2 view, and you decided on a place to unlock the plane, press "Shift+esc" (i believe) either that or crtl-esc, i havent did it in a long time.
Anyway, you also have your other camera views like flyby, which you could do a nice close-up zoom through ctrl / or *. There's also the f4 view. The f4 view may seem insignificant but you can actually alter that camera angle by typing up a few numbers (that im not use to yet) in a file. Some people have made the camera placed right below a pylon which has a pretty cool effect. And finally theres the free cam f11. You can make it padlock your plane as it goes by (different flyby views) through the period button on ur numpad. That's all i can think of right now, good luck and welcome to the forum. Btw, nice sig.
Thanks for the Help. Thats the most help i've got from anyone on this subject yet. S! I'll have to give it a go. Had a buddy of mine make up the sig. He's the sig man. Lol Thanks again.
