hi guys.
i have made my own track file. and i think its pretty good. but i have a question (again i wanna record my track file with fraps. but i wanna change views. from 1 plane too a other. u know what i mean right now i wonder how u do this. do u just allways record it and press pause then take new angle but keep recording. and then cut out the paused time ? how u then cut out the paused time ? or do u just record it in parts. and then paste it together. how u do that ? i wanna record it with Fraps 2.0 and edit it with Windows Movie Maker. Help wouldt be very appreciated (spelling ?? ) Greetings Eagle's Forever |

I always...
1) pause sim 2) search for exact viewpoint I want to record 3) start recording with Fraps 4) un-pause sim 5) let it run until I've got enough footage 6) pause sim 7) stop Fraps 8) Find next time/view I want to record and go to 1) again. This means every clip I record has some "dead" footage at the start and end, but it's easy to trim this out in the editor. The main advantage of filming that way is that you never miss out on what you *think* you're about to see. Remember these Fraps files take up a lot of HD space and it's easy to get carried away and fill up your hard disk. So it's good to quit Lomac once in a while and check the clips you've recorded, deleting the really bad ones and making notes about which could be improved. Andrew McP |
