Those videos reminded me of why I am worried about this game. Movement still looked like GRAW movement; too fast, kind of skating. AI looked just dumb, guy running around in circles...
Also, textures of people vs. environment still appear to not be good for concealment.
At least I think you can turn off all that HUD clutter.

I am also worried about this. I was looking on some screen shots and noticed that the SAW has a scope. I hope they changed that it just seems odd I don't know if they really do that but i liked it how it was otherwise it might become too good.
I saw these vids about a month ago. It made me so excited about the game that much more. Can wait, I heard something very interestin. I will post in the demo area.
okay I know I sound negative but I am also concerned about the recoil on the guns. It seems to go straight back unlike in ROS where it went everywhere. That is how I believe the recoil should be. I know it is a little late to be voicing my concerns, but I just want to know what everybody else thinks about it. You may be surprised but I am looking forward to the release of this game and I think it will be good.
The more the game's weapon mechanics work closer to AA:ROS and less like GRAW2, the better it will be in my opinion.
I thought AA:ROS was one of the best FPS games on xbox as far as how weapons and movement were handled. Some stuff in movement could have been polished up a bit, but overall a real fun game.

Anyways, the game looked pretty good, a bit too GRAWish though. Notice that the guys he was sniping in the first vid were the Mexican Rebels from GRAW2? The running was way too fast as well, other than that it was hard to tell what was going on because of the poor quality.

I loved ROAS, but recoil was way overblown in that game. The M4 was barely controllable, even compensating with the sticks. The AK47 was much more controllable, as was the RPK. I don't know, but that doesn't sound right to me. Looking at videos of an actual M4 being fired, it seems much more controllable than represented in the game, where the barrel practically went straight to the ceiling. Not really a fan of the cone fire in GR either, but of the two, I suspect that's the lesser of the two evils. Taking out the crosshairs will make that a lot nicer to live with.
However, I hope they get firing the sniper rifle right. From that one video it seems to lack any recoil, like in GRAW2. I hope the rate of fire is right. I can't stand the rapid firing snipers in GRAW2. Bolt action is nice though, I assume that's what that circle on the screen represents.
I don't think if you shoot on full auto on a M4 you expect it to stay in control though. As for the AK, doesn't it have some sort of mechanism on the end of the barrel that forces the gas up? That would help keep it level. As for the RPK and SAW those are heavy weapons and they are for suppressing and not really meant for precision fire right? I thought that the RPK had plenty of recoil so long as you did not lightly pull the trigger . If you did that with either the SAW or the RPK then there would be hardly any recoil. But I am with you on the sniper I hope you can't shoot too fast with it and hopefully the recoil is right.
yeah the diamonds I think will ruin AATS if you can't take them off. I like how you don't know what is around the corner so you have to be careful but if there are diamonds then it takes away from the stealth.
Does anyone know how the crouching works in AATS? I hope it works like in ROS and not like in any of the Ghost Recons. I like how it is in ROS because if you crouch without holding the left trigger and walk forward you stand up to walk I like that more.
