I found the best way to enjoy True Soldiers is definitely playing this on True Soldier mode FOR SURE.
Also if you like to play Team Sharpshooter, I’d strongly suggest setting the incapacitation timer to 15 seconds. I know it’s kind of long, and I hope that the full version reduces this timer to less (hopefully like 5 seconds). However, with that said, I found that the true meat & potatoes of the game lied in Team Survival. If you just kicked on the True Soldier mode and kept the incapacitation mode at 30 seconds, then this is actually a flat out enjoyable game.

IMO, best way is to play (so far): no respawns and set bleed out to 15 seconds. Time enough for your teammates to pop smoke and grab you (surely you're staying together?), but not so long that a teammate feels he needs to cross the map to get to you. The more I play this game the more I like it. It'll be more fun when we get to tweak the soldiers with skill points and everyone has a scope/red dot available to them.
I didn't change the bleed-out timer last night, but the default setting seemed fine. 15 seconds is pretty fast - is it still enough time to encourage your teammates to even try reviving you?
Switching to smoke, moving, dragging, and healing could easily chew up most of that, and you still need to be careful not to get picked off by the guy who shot your teammate in the first place. Plus while you definitely want to stick with your team that doesn't mean you're going to be right on top of each other.. That's just asking for a grenade or artillery strike.
I agree with you Cre8nhavoc. I think that is the way to play this game. I don't know why people even think about not turning True Soldier on....

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, when you drag someone it doesn't count as bleed out time. Because I drug one of my teammates quite a bit for about 20 seconds till I got behind good enough cover (he was in the middle of the open) and he didn't die. The bleed out time was set to 15 seconds. Then again, I might be wrong.

Hmm, didn't notice that.. In any case it's probably best to wait until the final release to worry about that sort of stuff since they could have tweaked it since the demo build was completed.
True Soldier/no respawns is the only way to play the final game.
On the demo,True Soldier mode of course, but been playing with respawns, also I've been playing with the 15 second bleed-out partially because of the limited time of the demo. But also because too many people complain/quit on longer bleed-outs.
On the full game I think 30 second might be my preference because it increases the overall feeling of intensity in carrying out the order of operations such as smoke/drag/heal/cover. It also doesn't seem very long when you are attempting to perform your role on the team.
On 15 second bleeds, if the team is somewhat separated (perhaps to due to trying to avoid "full team incapacitation" from airstrikes for example), there is literally no chance to heal a team mate.
15 second bleeds actually highly decreases the realism and makes the game feel more like a standard shooter in my opinion. But until I can get some games with all people enjoy the realism , I'll play like that, so people familiar with shooters don't feel lost and have a familiar setting, and don't leave 3 minutes into the game.

I'm not sure that is the case. I read your post yesterday before I DL'ed and played. When I ran over to retrieve a downed team member, I was figuring I had some time to administer the first-aid once I released him, only to have him die at my feet. I am not certain how long he was down before I got to him. So, I'm not saying you're wrong, just saying it didn't seem like dragging had suspended the bleedout timer in this case.
Played last night in TS mode with all objective markers off in player options on professional difficulty with a squad of four. We were getting pretty well torn up by the AI. Especially as we tried to advance into the village.

This thread is getting me excited because True Soldier mode is what I have been most anticipating. I can't wait for M$ to send my box back so I can get on line with y'all and take it to some OPFOR!

May I suggest you order somebody into the "leaning rest" and comandeer their Xbox until you get yours back!
Going to agree that 30 seconds is just right. 45 is still too long, but 15 really does go by quickly if still under fire.
Another way to play: When in a small group, it's been fun to add the AI pilots to the teams. You can do 1 to 3, and they're pretty effective. Good for a few extra rifles on the field and they're also good at healing. They will come to you, scope the area to be sure it's clear and then apply first aid. Nicely done.
