i daily hear about the Feb 27th new guns& updates just rumors?

New guns?? If they add the M-60 machinegun, I'll do some cartwheels

I doubt they would add in new weapons sense the game is simulating the loadout of a typical infantry squad. Maybe they might add in some new options as far as optics go.

I woud like to know where you heard these rumors. There is no release date for the update as of right now. The Graw2 game is having issues and they are always #1. We will get ours when they are all fixed up. It shoudl be soon though.

Remember, If you know of any glitches in the game please post them in the correct section so they can be fixed!!

I would gladly accept a bug-fixes only update while waiting for a new features update.

While some of the early bugs and user complaints are bad enough, the recently discovered (or exploited) bugs are very disappointing.

The lack of information on when we're going to see fixes is also disappointing. It's open ended. No idea of whether they're being addressed or whether they're working towards fixes.

Without a target release date, we don't even know if they've started. Will it be February 27th or May 28th, or next December? Is the update actually "done" as once reported or is it being worked on right now? Are these two latest, and very serious bugs being addressed or are we going to have to wait for the next update?

I'm not trying to be negative, I'm must voicing my frustration and spending $60 for a game riddled with problems that are detracting from the game. I understand the complexity of these programs, but would have thought many of these things would have been found in alpha stage testing. I'm quite surprised many of these made it to final release.

Request to the developers. Please communicate something with your customers. This is the first game I have purchased in many many years and my first and only exposure to your company. Would you buy another product if you were me?

There is alot that is unable to be released as far as information goes.

I will say this, The update IS coming. They are working on things and it will be worth the wait when it finally does come.

as for there being "SO MANY" glitches in the game. There were over 7500 at the begining of testing. 100% of those were found and fixed. The glitches that are coming out now are new deals but the RedStorm team is a good group of people and you can rest assured they are taking care of what needs to be done. No worries, hold tight most of us have been dealing with these issues since the release and we have learned to work with them with the knowledge that good things are coming.

I think RSE is doing all they can to fix these things within their reasonable ability and I think the game is worth the 60 (40-50 now at certain retailers) bucks even with all the issues. However, we all hear where you are coming from sdscotto, it can get frustrating dealing with the problems. Also though remember that many other "AAA" games sometimes have just as many, if not more/worse problems many times.

I would be shocked if an update/patch was ever released for this game, unless it is something to fix something relatively small and easy to fix.

AA:RoaS NEVER saw a patch. I expect nothing different to happen with AA:TS.

My point was that there is nothing being released. I wasn;t looking for "alot", just something that says a release is coming. Other than some of you insiders, who always properly separate yourselves from the official, I haven't seen or heard anything.

I'm not sure why the quote on "SO MANY" since I never said that and this is a response to my post. I'm glad to hear that over 7500 were found and fixed. Again, no official acknowledgement is my chief complaint.

As I said before, I'm not trying to be *****y, or say I could do it better. I'm admittedly not even as good a player and most of the people playing this game. I'm just finding it less fun as I get better because of the glitches, and with no "official" acknowledgement that it's being worked on, I find it frustrating.

I think what I'm learning is that this is the way this industry works. You get what you get when you get it. It's trust and faith in the development team that they are continuing to work on a game even though they don't say so.

Undoubtedly (sp?) there will be more bugs found even after the next release. I understand and accept that. I code, too. I make mistakes, too. I sometimes have a hard time finding the sequence of events that cause a particular error, too. BUT, I can't imagine a customer telling me that something happened, and me to ignore them until I decide to fix it.

Again, not trying to egg-on or provoke a response from anyone. You all have been very cordial and supportive. I am a big fan of this game and the core values it promotes.

I will crawl back into the woodwork and patiently await an update.

well although there is no "official" release stating anything that I can see, please take my word as the official.

I have regular communications with the Red STorm Devs and being that I run the largest community for AA:TS I am involved deeply in the community.

Our wonderful ubi moderator here Mr. Hanky has also stated that the patch is coming and he is a voice of Ubi. So take both of our words and call it official. Its coming. Please be patient.

Dont worry about upsetting anyone here. You have worries as you should; however, dont worry so much. Its coming so try to enjoy the game.

remember, if you find any glitches check the glitch section and post them up if its not already stated.
