Prep my court martial...I will miss movement on the AA:TS deployment date. I got the 3 red lights today on my 360 and I don't think it will be back in time for the release date.

I've had it for less than 10 months. Curse you Microsoft, curse you.

That sucks! Happened to me last summer.
On the bright side, I know one guy that sent his off and the one he got back had the HDMI output. Get that thing off quick.

If you ship it out quick I think you should get it back in time.

Ah, your so lucky! You've had yours for 10 months, and only had to replace it once. For me, at that point I had replaced mine about 5 times.

Anyway, it will suck if you miss the release date. For me though, it took about 2 weeks to complete the whole repair process and get a new one back.

^^^Yeah I know. Try launch, 2am you get home and you get 3 red lights. Then it works for less then 4 and does it again. Then you buy another one while one is in the shop. you get yours back, it works for 3 months, breaks again. You use the new replacement and its' broken too! YEA Micro$haft.

So CPT, does this mean you won't be holding the release party. I live out on the east coast so I wouldn't be albe to attend. Just wanna make sure others know. You could call MS and tell them about your plans. Maybe they could throw you a bone......Then again they probably throw you a broken one anyway.

I've had mine pretty much since launch and haven't had to replace it once.

Knock on wood I have yet to have a problem and I have had mine for 10 months. It does come up with one red light but that is it. Lets hope it stays that way.

That is messed up. So many of my friends have dealt with the RRD already, I know it will happen to me sooner or later. I was just talking to my girlfriend the other day about how I would be pretty sad to get RRD before AA comes out.

Microsoft should of done a recall in my opinion. On the brighter side, I've heard there is a new/more effecient chipset, that you may end up getting in your replacement. It is suppose to be quieter too, which is something thats been leading me to my worrys about RRD - IT KEEPS GETTING LOUDER!

You don't know how many times I've said (or thought) that regarding my 360!

Supposedly, it is a mandatory upgrade to the better chipset when you send your console in for repair.

Well... I guess that gives me a reason to look forward to the RRD? That doesn't sound right, Smile, an upgrade would definitely be nice, so thats good to hear.

We are still a "GO" for our launch event, it's only my personal 360 that went down. Our Ad folks provide us with the consoles these things. We're looking at having 2 consoles linked on 2 separate screens, each screen going split-screen 2 player for some 2 vs 2 pwnage.

Look on the bright side, you'll get the new processor chip on the 360 and you may get the HDMI on your system as well!

My brother just got his 360 back on Saturday. His system came with the HDMI board and he's got a premium console!

That's really looking for a silver lining, but I guess you have to think positive. I DID finally get to play Metroid Prime Corruption for my Wii. I got it on release day and just took it out of the wrapper yesterday!

Mine just died too. This will be number 7. Too many red rings, if you ask me... Hopefully I get it back soon.

If they've all been red rings, you may need to look into a power conditioner to plug into for power. Might make the difference.

I got my box and shipping instructions this weekend and I'm taking it to the UPS drop off tomorrow morning. I heard taps playing somewhere in my head.

On the bright side, I've found that Metroid Prime Corruption is a great game on my Wii and I'm getting Battalion Wars 2 on Tuesday. I guess I delayed a $160 purchase on GHIII and CoD4 by about a month anyway.

I went ahead and overnighted mine to speed things up when it died. I think it was $65 if you want to do that. It did save a few days.

When you get it back, keep the box. I've got mine stashed just in case. (knock on wood)
