I thought in an interview they said ppl who dont play online could get all of the achievements solo with an AI squad. It says 4+ players on half of the list.

If anyone would like to get the helicopter achievement I will be on launch day. LoL

Does anyone know how the helicopter will work will it just be for transport or can you shoot people like in battlefield 2?

That sniper one could be tricky.. 80% accuracy with 10+ shots...You have to make sure you aim for the feet a few times otherwise you'll kill everybody before you get to 8. Or just play with respawns I guess

I'm afraid there will be. Seems like they mentioned the presence of sharpshooter and CTF or some standard games like that. That's fine, some people might want that. Just make sure we have real objective games like in ROAS---and I don't mean defending flares like in GRAW.

Yeah I think you are right I want the objectives but do you know how the helicopters and vehicles work? I hope it is not like Battlefield 2 MC.

Looking through the list again, AI targets must count for the achievements. That would make more sense than trying to get 8 sniper hits in 10 shots in one adversarial game.

And why isn't defending flares a real objective? If the Captain says to defend some flares, YOU'D BETTER DEFEND THOSE FLARES PRIVATE! Now drop and give me 20.

I would rather have objectives like in AAROS. I think those are great.

"Some achievements can only be earned in single player, some can only be earned in multiplayer, and then the rest will be unlocked by a combination of both. We realize that some players don’t have Xbox Live Gold Memberships or can’t always play with an online connection. Knowing that, we have taken care to include a Local Play mode that will let players cooperate in 2-player splitscreen against the AI in any of our Co-Op match types or even go in solo with AI teammates to go through the Co-Op Campaign missions. Doing this allows everyone to work towards completing all the Achievements so that they can get their 1000 Gamerscore points."

AI teammates and enemy AI must account for "Players" and "Kills", seeing as how you must have 4+players in-game to get most of those and Randy said you can get them all locally. If that's at all true then them reffering to squad AI as "Players" really makes me hopeful.

Looks good to me. I'm wondering about the helicopters/tanks though too.

I REALLY JUST HOPE THERE AREN'T A BUNCH OF ACHIEVEMENT WHORES OUT THERE CAUSE THAT REALLY RUINS THE GAME! JUST PLAY AND WHEN YOU GET THEM YOU GET THEM

does anybody know about the tanks and helicopters? will it be like battlefield 2 at the spawn or will we be able to use them and fly and drive them?? Ubi or someone please answer

You will not be able to control vehicles.

Oh thank god. I was afraid of a run and gun type game with vehicles instead of the actual run and gun on foot. I'm not saying AA is a run and gun.
