yah pro PLAYERS is a basketball site. PP has been around since the last AA game. It is run by adults not children.

If you've been around so long, why do you only have a 150 members? Digital Combat has only been around for 3 years and has nearly 10,000. |

well thats because we just re did the site new face new ladders and 150 members in what a week and a half i think that is prety good dont you |

its cool we are used to ignorant people.
the site has been around for 3 years. We for the most part are all ex staff of Gamebattles. We took the good things of how GB was run and kicked out the corporate BS of how gamebattles is run and started up PP. The site in the past was run for AA:ROS and Chromehounds originally. with teh arrival of AA:TS we have decided to redo everything after a major crash and we have put up a useable site that players can have to their discression for teh moment. There is alot coming in the near future. WE have hired a new coder and we are Building everything from scratch and adding alot of extra features you would not normally see on a gaming ladder. Sorry we dont have the 10,000 members like you guys im sure tha gets your heads big, but on the same note, I have been on games for quite a while and have never heard of your site either. Atleast we as people are known in the gaming community... what was your name again? oh well it doesnt matter. Thanks for the time. |

I can see how some of the names/words could offend or at least turn off, some potential players. But I think it is good there are variety of people working on this stuff. I hope it will contribute to more people being interested the game in the end.

Well, I went and checked out both websites. I guess there isn't really too much on them yet. I couldn't figure out how to find the ladder on DC. I browsed all the forum links and read the stuff about the ladder being up, etc. Only thing is, when I clicked on the ladder link, it still says coming soon on the AA:TS ladder. I clicked that link and it brought me nowhere... is it maybe still not ready yet...?

dc may still be working on getting the ladder all set up. being the first with it available is not always the only thing. sometimes making sure everything is right is better.
before a ladder gets started on dc the community discuses the issues on what settings to use, what to leave to home team option and what game types are most wanted. any major issue is voted on by the players. i can understand comming from somewhere like gb that you got fed up with alot of ****. dc is not full of corprate ****. it is a site created by two players who wanted a better enviroment to play in. it was solely funded and started by those two individuals. just players. i played with them for years on other sites before following to dc. there is no profit involved in this site. they dont dictate they are in the background and the players run the site. it works and it grows. most players are adults, but there are younger players to. but only mature acting respectable players everlast. most of your dc players are ghostrecon seige players. starting out on team compete in ghost recon then ghost recon island thunder then gr2 and gr2 summit strike then to graw. dc has been there since gr2 logging hundreds of seige matches a month dc has offered ladders in most games most not sticking like gr. there was much success with r6v for the non gb type player and some with halo 3. most players now are playing cod4 in a better enviroment than you will find on gb. quality not quantity. with everyon stuck on cod4 the AA ladder will be slow getting started but will pick up in the next month because this game is here to stay. also when the no instant kill is fixed for some things like head shots and grenades the game will flood with people from dc. most teams on dc are real teams. not fake dummie teams created to fill space. every registerd player must have there name as it is on there gammer tag and have an active live account connected to it. which is easy but it lets everyone know that everyone is real. |

sounds like us except we r all AA players. we are all from America's Army ROS and have moved to TS with the 360. we know this game better than most. We also play alot of other games like RB6 and games of the sort. Thanks for the history lesson. |

You really are full of yourself aren't you? A real legend in your own mind. Apparently 9,850 more people know about Digital Combat than they know of you. So you really need to get off you soap box and stop preaching to someone who's been around a lot longer than you. You condescending tone and barely veiled insults are not only a joke, but show your ignorance as to who you're talking to. If you want some advise, I'd scrap your PhPNuke based site with your Nuke Ladder software and move to a real server who can handle some traffic. Your site is already slow and will only get worse as traffic increases and the inefficiency of those two programs will continue to exacerbate the problem. Trust me, I've been there and done that. As for who I am, my name is Maddogg. Been the same name since I beta tested live over 5 years ago. You want to puff out your chest and compare resumes just let me know when. I'd do some research first though. It really would be embarassing to get smacked around after you started with the insults. |

If you goto this link: http://www.dccombat.com/index.php?page=TitanCore# And follow these instructions, it will take you to it. 1. Using the competion menu click My Team. 2. Click the team you want to use. This will open your team page. 3. Click the Events Tab. This will the ladder page witch will show the ladders your are playing and a drop down block with all the ladders. 4. Using the drop down block select the ladder you wish to join. 5. Click the Join Competition button. This will open a page with the ladder info and rules. 6. Click the Join This Competion button at the bottem of the ladder rules. You do need to be registered and have formed a team before you can join the ladders. Hope that helps. |
