The TC name may not mean realism, but it pretty much guarantees a good score. Even Rainbow Six Lockdown got 7's and 8's. LOL

I can't believe these reviewers give out all these 10's either. Gamers ultimately suffer because of these reviews. I wish there was a like a Wiki review site or something. Something that offered at least counter-arguments to the rhetoric. I know I would always use such a source over ign/OXM/1up/gamespy... etc. This experience reaffirms that I must always try a game, before making a final decision.

Maybe I'm blind, tired, just plain stupid, or am missing a joke, but I don't see anything wrong with that post....

Maybe from now on it should be refered to as rainbow six lock**** or "The great dissapointment" or something like that. No I have it "The thing that should not be".

If there really was a game that was a perfect 10, wouldn't that mean that no other games would ever be needed?

Methinks some people's definition of perfect is a bit skewed.

Yeah, ratings seem to really have gone to hell this year IMO. All these 10's is one example. Here are some others from IGN: Cabellas Game Hunter 08: 5.9, Soldier Of Fortune: Payback 6.1, Time Shift: 8.5, Hour of Victory: 6.3 but somehow AA: TS gets a 3.7 - If I was an editor at IGN I would be worried, because anyone with even part of a brain can realize that "Something just doesn't feel right" as Sgt. Smith would say. They need to revoke the review because it is hurting the entire organization. People eventually notice when they are being lied to and they become very unhappy, it will come back to them and I will make sure to do everything I can to help that, such as let everyone know how much they suck.

[sigh] I don't think anything will change, really they just made us mad. The average gamer won't ever know. How does Hour of Victory get a better score? From what I've heard that game is pretty much broken.

Why would their opinions make you angry? If you don't trust them then don't read them or worry about them. AATS doesn't need people from halo, ghost recons, SOF, or any of those games. What AATS needs are more players from ROS or the computer AA games.
