It does make sense. With as little marketing as the Army/Ubi(whoever was supposed to market it) has put out, they aren't going to try and go up against CoD4. What you should if you want both games is get a gamefly account. For $15/mo you could have both games for 2 months then decide which one you want to keep and buy it at a used price.

I would rather see a game delayed and released with bugs being corrected than it being released and needing alot of patchwork.

im not so sure...

they're still both FPS,and Halo cast a big shadow over all of gaming.i know there's typically a divide between Halo and AA types,buts there's still alot of crossover aswell.not only as just gamers,but as FPS fans.

i know i bought Halo 3,and plan to get AA,COD,SOF...

AoT is probably a rental for me.

but Halo is still easily the juggernaut on that list,that could... will eat up alot of possible sales for the others(even after waiting a little while to drop).

So why even post if we have to wait until it becomes public. Most information that has come out is just reiterated stuff. Nothing has been really clear information. In the 360achievement.org interview Randy came out and said that a demo would come out before the game. Well seeing how it was suppose to come out in week and a half, and now not for about a month than that means we should see the demo very very soon. Seeing how most demos come out about a month or so before the release of the game. I just get annoyed when people announce things that say we need to wait until it come public before they can say anything. Well that makes it look fake because once it become public then everyone knows so how do you prove you knew. Sorry don't take it personally.

just trying to reassure(as much as i can)that the game isnt still in development.which could mean indefinate delays.i think any delays are far more likely to do with strategy or possible other issue's that have been mentioned....not the game being incomplete.

i rarely take anything i read on the internet personally(especially message boards).

man i feel the same exact way. i only want to focus on one game at a time. the same thing happen when i was fully into R6 vegas and GRAW2 came out. i bought GRAW and never played it because i was so into rainbow6. i still havent finished GRAW2 and i probally will just trade it in towards this one.

The usual websites are usually behind the retailers in updating these things. IGN was several days behind the last delay. TXB hasn't kep up with the game at all, really.
I'd say the delay is pretty well set in stone.

I don't know, this has been such a DRY year for games like this that I'll definitely be buying AA and COD4 at least. Will gamefly SoF and Army of 2, but probably buy from them.

2008 looks to be a good year though.

Not to go off of topic but I guess I will based on the last post. did anyone play Operation Flashpoint on xbox? Is anyone going to get the new one in 2008? that was a good indepth game with a low fan base.

I picked up OF on launch. Returned it the next day for credit towards AA:ROAS that came out the next week.
It was a GREAT game, but the graphics were something from the PS1 and made it too irritating to play. Just too much of a compromise. I'm very much looking forward to the new one. Also, Rogue Warrior, ArmA2 (same group that does OF I think), and War Hound (read up on how that is set up, sounds perfect). 2008 is going to be a great year to own a 360.

I'll probably be getting OFP2 and ArmA2. 2008 is going to be great when it comes to tactical shooters.
