I was afraid you'd say that. I've done this mission so many times now, with and without the "move!" order, plus with enough variance on the other key points the only thing I can think to try is slowing things down. Like when the enemy attacks from the west and then from the north, sometimes I engage them before the Sgt announces that they are there (after the 20th time, you kinda know when they're coming, no?). When I'm covering the team towards the extraction, I can often get 5 of 6 of those guys, many times when they're running out I can drop them before they get a shot off. Maybe I could hold off a bit and give the Sgt a chance to direct my fire before I engage the enemy.

I finally beat R01 without it locking up and got 12SP. I'm not sure if it was the smoke that made a difference, but I kinda went nuts with it. I smoked every MG position before attacking, and I smoked the APC and tank as they approached area #4. I gave the tank a double dose - one before picking up the AT4 and one after. I also popped a couple off at the end when defending the extract. Obviously you also need to complete the "blue" objectives - resupply in the barn, and move onto the blue square behind the tank before shooting it.

That was my last one! 12SP on all of them, and I'm up to 211SP total. Razz

I'm guessing I'm missing 5 SP in the co-op missions and 216SP is the max? That would let you take one skill up to pro level, with the rest at skilled.

Nice job mean. I'm pretty sure you're correct on 216 being the max. An alternative to having 4 skills at level 3 and one at level 4, would be to go with: two at L4, one at L3, and two at L2. That only requires 208 points so you could do that now. The other alternative (with 216) is to max out 3 skills leaving the other two at zero.

Yeah, that's how I have it set up now - L4 on marksman and medic, L3 on valor, and L2 on PT and fortitude.

I know I still haven't completed co-op mission #2 without alerting guards yet.. Maybe that's my last 5 SP.

Clap Nice work everyone. Reading some of the posts makes me feel like I have a better chance next time I try. I'm at 209 total, and after I get one more, all I will need is the four from R01/R02 to have "all skilled/but one pro" skill levels.

I don't know where the other co-op point I need is. I remember thinking I was going to get a lot from passing Gold Lion 02 retaining stealth, but only wound up with 1 or 2 extra. However don't think I've ever passed it with the entire squad staying together the whole game on that one either. I was thinking it may have something to do with the missions where everyone seems to be on "A" squad in game, but if you play with true soldier off, the number by the star still reflects the squads shown in the menu...

Man I can't believe this never dawned on me in 50 TIMES OF PLAYING IT!! Of course the final green box being a mere 10 feet away from your location is specifically to AFFORD you the time to heal the Alpha squad guys before the game's up. Geez - I'll be right back...

Yeah, I tend to resupply even if I only need 3 203 rounds and a medkit. Wink2

The other night I was playing as TL for about 6 co-op missions in a public room and noticed it does help rake in the honor points. Just for keeping our FT together, our team members were usually in the top 5 for HP after each round.

Resupplying takes about half the time that reloading does if you're carrying the SAW.. It's definitely worth sticking close to the TL if you're carrying one of those. I guess the TLs carry around a few extra pre-loaded weapons. Hammer

Yeah with the amount of stuff I dole out on a mission I would need a wheelbarrel to carry it all..

Speaking of which, not so much in this game, but maybe in GRAW, instead of random ammo caches around maps, they should have given the team a mobile Mule like in SP to resupply off of.

R01 is starting to tick me off again. Its either one thing or the other or whatever. I pass the Tank part and then get killed somewhere else. Or get hit at the tank part with causalities. And I am on skilled too.

I don't think I even had this much difficulty doing it first time around when I just got the game.

The good thing though after the third try last night I finally made it towards the end onto the destroyed building platform where the freezes occur and I did not freeze doing what I did to avoid the freeze. But, with no back up anymore and only the Sgt. We got killed advancing to the extraction.

What really gets me going on this level is when right before the tank part enemies start rushing in. My AI teamates are real dumb get killed by someone who is right in front of him.

So If I smoke the tank, the tank will not fire?

Yeah, if you toss some smoke to the left side of the road as soon as you know the tank is coming, it'll give you time to get the AT4.

I also threw a bunch of smoke at the end so I only had to deal with one group of baddies at a time. Otherwise they come from three directions at once and I just got overrun.

If anyone is still having problems with the freeze near the extraction point (R01), I suggest going/staying out to the left of the walls (when facing where the enemies advance from). I haven't had it freeze on that side. On the other hand, every time I go out on the right side it seems to freeze.

this seems to work most of the time for me. howeve it did freeze once over there but maybe I was not far enough up..

I am going nuts!!! I can't seem to get the 12 SP for the S02! I have scored 12 on every thing but this. I am going crazy! I keep getting 10 SP 750 plus honor and no deaths!

Any Ideas?

Your talking about Gray Wolf mission 2 correct where you have to defend the convoys. Well I am stuck in the same boat you are at 10 SP. Now I can't even finish the mission without dieing. At least you finish it. How do you survive the last encampment?

I am also stuck in mission 1 Grey Wolf but instead now I need 4 more SP. I can barely get my guys to come out alive in this one. They are such idiots. And I would like it if they rank up as I have through out these wargames.

I also need 2 more SP on Blue Bird Mission 2. Any advice.

Then thats about it for me. The wargames are fun and challenging because of this but the teamates are just really dumb. I'll try not to lose faith.

The AI when you play online campaign by yourself, they are waaay better. I wish they can be in the wargames with me.

If I keep having trouble with this, does anyone want to run these wargames RO1 and RO2 with me over Private Chat? You take lead and tell me the position you will be in then I will be in that position too. Also if you deploy smoke on a certain spot I will deploy smoke too.

This is of course those who know exactly the criteria on how to get 12 SP on these missions. But then again I haven't had a good success rate of even finishing the mission without dying or failing. SO maybe if I did finish the mission I would get those points.
