The vertical movement should be there, and that is the only game I've really seen it implemented good.

If it wouldn't have been so over-exaggerated I think it would of been the best I've tried. At first I did love it, until I saw all these guys running around with their necks/backs hunched over. Eek Those spots along the fence in AA are a great example, where if you had a little bit more movement control you could get "that" view you want. I could see how it could cause realism/bug/glitch issues though.

yeah, ive been trumpeting MOH's lean system for awhile.

it has its problems, the biggest imo was moving while using it.but i think its a great example to work from.

I haven't playe MOH, but from your description, it sounds like what I was getting at. I can see where it would be a problem if it stays active during movement. A feature like that should be self-canceling if you move out at more than 1/10 speed.

in MOH it activates when you hold you left trigger to look down the sights.at which time you have a fluid/gradual lean based off of your left stick.

but in order to move while using it you need to click and hold in the left stick.or with an alternate layout(#2 i believe)you can use your left bumper instead of holding in the left stick, which i found to be easier...

you could catch the edge of the left bumber with your trigger finger as you were holding the left trigger.

I agree with Ring2, although, the game is made by redstorm, they still made it a bit too like ghost recon in that they allow you to be whatever you want. The concept of the previous game was to create squads and now its just a free for all.

the MOH lean is good but I rather have it the way it was in ROS I thought that was simple and very good I think though the MOH system would be better than what it is now because it is rather hard to use quickly. Also with the lean I wish that the scope would be at an angle I know it is a little detail but I think that was perfect and it should go back to its roots. Just my opinion

Does anyone else think its lame that you can't turn an emplaced weapon around 360 degrees? The first thing I want to do when I encounter one is turn it back on the enemy and spare my own ammo.

So do you think they will fix the recoil for the m4 with the scope? It really needs to be fixed because it is very unrealistic that there is little kick to the m4 with the scope. It seems too much like ghost recon

EDIT: Since some people didn't get what I said I'll make it even clearer. There is VERY little kick to the m4. Could you keep the crosshairs as steady as in the game? Sure you could in short bursts but not in long continuous burst like in the game.

Here is another point that was an untrained personell if he was a trained army personell than i would agree with u

another thing That guy is skinny like a stick the army personell has bags of equipment that weigh heavier than his body. so you can have your feet planted

I meant my video as a proving point that the M4 has little kick. Look at the gun, not the user Razz

And, watch MeanMF's video for a true showing of an AR-15, and notice the very small amount of recoil.

still the force the gun put out to knock the guy back has to go somewhere so if he doesn't go back it goes somewhere else right or am I making this up also?

If you're standing upright, it'll knock you off balance. But if you get into a strong stance and lean into it a little like you're supposed to then it's controllable.

okay now we will switch to what this thread was really created for.

the grenade cursor needs to be removed on true soldier mode, the objective location markers need to be removed on true soldier mode because I don't want to be the only one with it turned off. finally I feel the most strongly about having SET fireteams not how it is now that is by far the worst idea in this whole game. That choice took TS from the original ROS game and made it too much like Ghost Recon. I didn't want another Ghost Recon I want another America's Army.

yea ur making that up also i was watching a video that the m4 or m16 was designed to have a straight butt stock so the recoil goes straight back. not like the WW II carbine it had a curved stock so it would go all over the place.

search on youtube for m16 or the design of the m16

I think the grenade cursor needs to be removed period. because in real life the soldier isnt like the terminator and nows how to adjust his power to plant the grenade under a guys foot. It would be better if the grenade system was like ROAS.

Thats my opinnion Winky Crack Whip

I've seen videos of people firing on full auto. They lean into it a little and it is managable.
