Good review!
I think it's probably good to tell people that haven't played the game yet to look at it differently than they expect. This game is not "AA:ROAS 2", or the PC game. It's the best Ghost Recon game to date. They took GR, made it first person, dropped the crosshairs, game us True Soldier mode and some other very key features from AA and ended up with a great game. Someone getting it expecting typical AA isn't going to like it and might not give it the chance it deserves. However, taken on it's own, or seen as Ghost Recon the way Ghost Recon SHOULD BE, the game absolutely excels.

I've played COD4 twice since getting this, and even hardcore and search/destroy on that game still feels hollow to me, despite the excellent presentation. I'd rather play AA:TS with True Soldier and blind seige on these incredible maps and superior game play.
There's room to get even better, and I do miss that 60fps from COD, but IMO this is the best MP shooter on the 360 right now.

It's time the console gaming industry realized the serious games are serious fun. We don't need compromises and arcade factors on all of our shooters. Shooters that are realistic and taken seriously are incredibly fun and satisfying to play. So far, on the 360, AA:TS is the only game to make an attempt at this.

It leaves me scratching my head as to why they can't figure this out. OGR was a hit. So was Forza for OXB. Both leaned more toward sim than game. I seriously think the industry needs to re-research the demographics of the console gamers and get more in touch with just who their customer base is. Sure, there is a lot of money to be made with the GRAW's, GOW's, Halo's, COD's, PGR's, NFS's. But there is also money to be made by targeting more serious gamers. Beside's, eventually all those kiddies out there DO grow up. Kids that grew up on video games don't suddenly quit playing them once they turn 30. I was pluggin quarters onto a PACMAN machine when I was a sophmore in highschool. I'm 42 now and have no plans to lay down my controller. They'll have to pry it from my cold dead hands when I'm 80. LOL.
