I agree with raw. The game itself is badass, however if you dont do live its a waste. 8 short levels and thats all. Get live and you will enjoy the game HUGELY!
My wife and I play on local split-screen and we have a blast.
We tried it online once and after getting booted three times in a row without explanation or anything and then getting disconnected two other times, we went back to local.

Well this game runs off the GRAW Engine. And GRAW would do that from time to time. I never really had issues. My connection is pretty good. Usually one bad apple in the room can cause a room to go down too.
Playing split-screen online, especially with two mics seems to always be less stable... Also, if playing splits-screen-online, I always mute mics and "don't talk/walk until game fully loads. Seemed to improve things. Then there is always those dang NAT settings...
I just got T.S. the other day and I have yet to even another person on a match, at all. it seems like everyone I know is either playing Vegas or G.T.A. IV.
