How are the units chosen in America's Army. Is there an airborne school or ranger school or any "training" for that matter. I seen most of the screenshots of soldiers with 3rd Infantry Division patches but the soldier on the cover is part of an Airborne unit. DO they have the 82nd Airbornes Division? Any Information would be apreciated.

I haven't heard anything attending Airborne/Air Assault/Ranger/Pathfinder/Sapper etc. schools. Your attributes are improved by using honor points awarded to you after missions. It would be cool if you could use these points to go to Ranger school and see a little video montage.

As for the units, I'm not sure about your shoulder patch, but certain clan names have been reserved for real Army units. So if you're playing agianst someone in the 101st Clan you are going up against a real Screaming Eagle. The patches would be a nice touch, though.

I don't know how the unis are chosen or if there even are units, but the selling point of this game is the training. There are 17 training missions and 10 regular missions.
