Okay everyone, the demo is 535mb.

It features co-op or adversial. From the description it looks like it is only one map. You can play co-op with up to 16 people, or an 8 vs. 8 adversial match.

Look for me on there! If you see that guy with "MrHanky" in the name, give me a shout Smile

It'd be nice if players could spectate when they join a game that has already started, especially since the game is co-op anyway.

I'm not normally a pessimist, that just criticizes for the sake of it, but aa:ts is a complete let down. i hope that the developers are reading this personally, because i truly am trying to help. but one, i thought rainbow six character was slow,it's tactical i understand but, us humans have got to have more ummff than that. two, the weapons animations, the weapons textures, the sounds are cheesy, even when your running with the gun, it doesn't bob up and down
realistically, you'll think soldiers would know how weapons functioned, the m-16 is garbage, and the m9 is the dumpster. where are the shells flying out the weapon, why doesn't the slide retract? the players animation is downright laughable, it's like it's running at 5fps. the graphics are not "ghost recon" and you said that multiplayer is the key aspect of this game? damn, with it's launch in under two weeks i really don't see ubisoft and the "professionals" getting this polished in that time frame. i was actually excited about the release, now i'm saying "please don't release this in two weeks", maybe you should just find some game developers with vivid imagination as to what a great realistic shooter should be, because the guardians of this great nations', "expertise" aint worth a damn.... so please give it two months, check with the rainbow six developers,
turn up the intensity of this game please, make it seem like it has a pulse, i deleted it after playing one round because i didn't want to waste
the hard drive space, is that how you want some one to comment on what you take great pride in doing randy?

ps. at least fix the thumb on the guy holding the
rifle, the gloves even need work, what is this aa:ts lego edition? more fluid movement for the characters, better character animation, weapons animations, look and feel..... please don't let your ego allow you to fall on your faces by releasing this rough draft of a game on the 15th of November....

Man, I don't know what is up with some of these people? They must not be playing the same demo I am.

I've been having fun with it and am happy it is finally here. Thanks for getting it out now, this will definitely help me pass the time for the next couple weeks, before the release.

I must agree with the gentlemen who said "they must not be playing the same demo". Its not supposed to be GRAW or Halo or anything but AA. Have they ever played the PC version...its the same. Its a shame that all anyone can do is complain about someone elses hard work.

This game is terrible. You'll find this is the bargain bin not long after it's release.

This game has the potential to be a great seller if they just fix a few small things, but the sad part is that with Ubi's track record it will take them 6 months to update the title. A little fix a little too late. Bargain Bin.

I played it for a little while last night. I need to spend more time with the demo, but I think it will appeal to the Original GR and GRIT crowd to some extent. OGR and GRIT looked pretty average for an original Xbox title, and this is the same. I think it doesn't look as good as GRAW1 or GRAW2, which is suprising since it uses the same engine. But graphics never spoiled Ghost Recon's terrific gameplay. I think this title will appeal to a niche group. The Halo3/Team Fortress2 crowd wouldn't like this game much, no matter how "pretty" it looked.

I do think it could use a couple months more polish in a few areas. Controls tooks some getting used to. I liked the crouch/prone right bumper location, it makes for quick drops. I thought the aiming was a big off. I shot a guy from about 50 yards away and hit him fine, but closed in on him to finish him off, aimed right at his head, and noticed I was kicking up dirt a few inches away from his head, and no indication I was hitting him squrae in the head, like my reticle indicated.

I might pick this up... it was between this and Mass Effect. COD4 for me is a given. Mass Effect, although not in the same genre, looks like the better title. Maybe after some DLC and patches and price drops, I'll pick it up. Not worth $60 to me.

Yes, Ubi/RSE and US Army, please delay the release of this game because the thumb and glove don't look right. Hammer

You're worried about the thumb and glove? I think the whole game needs a complete make over. Even the controls are difficult to use. It's a pain just to put your rifle in burst mode. I could go on and on. Rise of a Soldier kept it easy. (Kept it original) I was very excited about this game coming out. After trying the demo, I was highly disappointed. Too many game modes for a tactical shooter. I thought this game was going to seperate itself from Call of Duty, Moh allied assault, ect. I was hoping True Soldiers was going to be similar to the AA pc version. It's way off. Everyone that I have talked to said they'd rather stick with ROAS (Rise of a Soldier)despite all the gliching and modders or get Call of Duty 4. Do you think the community of the AA pc version would rather play True Soilders than the existing pc title? I don't think so! If True soldiers was like the pc version more people would be willing to pay $60 for the game. I would even go as far to say that a lot of the pc players would switch over to the XBox 360. I guess Redstorm was trying to appeal to a whole different audience. I thank Redstorm for trying, but I think they tried to hard.

I know I was disappointed while playing the demo but hopefully the demo is just a demo and not the actual game. I do think it needs some changes. I don't think any game could live up to the legacy of ROS. I think I was so hyped up about this game because Ubi and RSE delayed it by about a month I though the reason was to fix major problems and maybe they did but needless to say I was disappointed by the demo. I still like this game but it might be an easy choice between ROS and TS.

it would've been better to do a port from the PC version.. i agree completely! but instead they did an almost complete port from GRAW2! even when i am running and go to crouch i get the slide sound effects! i mean, come on! WTF! to me it almost looks like they took GRAW2, forced to use only the ACUs, forced cam into FPV, and made some piss poor weapon models and threw it all in a blender. Maybe $15 for a budget... even the reload anim for the M16, and M4 are sad. the hands make him look like he's doing some sort of magic trick! The M24 SWS looks like a friggin sword its so thin.... and wtf is up with the rear aperture sights looking like glass? i understand focusing beyond the rear sight, but CLEAR? why not fade it and blur it like in PC version... or better yet, just PORT PC TO XBOX360... RSE really dropped the ball on this one. I'm canceling my pre-order and just renting it when it comes to the blockbuster store near my house.

well I wouldn't go that far but it was rather disappointing I would settle for another delay if they promised to fix these things I could wait until like February or March

100% agree with you Mav1911! The whole game is just completly out of whack. Even the character movement is down out crappy. Soldier feels limited to his abilities. For example: it takes seconds just to turn and look over shoulder. So if someone is on your flank and you hear them shooting at you, there is no time to turn around and return fire. I asked someone if there was an option for look sensitivity and he told me no, Redstorm wanted it to be realistic. I started laughing and told him,"wow if thats as fast as you can turn in real life then I would'nt want to go to combat with you". I can wait another six months for this game if they port it over from the pc version to the 360. More people would buy this title for sure! I would even be willing to pay extra for it. AA True soldiers does not live up to other AA titles.
