I'm thankful that there is finally an official forum up and running, but there needs to be mention of this game on XBox.com. Too many of my friends know nothing of this game, it's sad really. Also, some new XBL content like another trailer or picture pack would be nice.

Yep.
However, with ArmA, Operation Flashpoint 2, Rogue Warrior, Warhound and possibly Ground Branch all coming out next year, it seems that there IS a market for the realistic shooters. Hope the others spread the word better than has been done for AA:TS. I'm sure there's a reason for the silence, but it sure does set the game up to fail.

More realistic games seem to be coming out for the 360 recently. So maybe soon that steriotype will stop.

there should be more out on this game. i just bought the old one about a month ago when it became backwards compatable.
if i had known more about that game i probably would have started playing that game instead of going on the the ots in gr2.
all i heard about the old game at the time is it was full of glitches and bugs.
now after playing it i realize that if you are playing with good people it is a good game. i like the fact that its not easy to aim and has no static reticle.
if they just promoted this game a little it would be big. alot of people on the gamming ladder im on would love to see a demo or some gameplay videos. people wont buy with no info. you feel like they are trying to hide something

Reviewers really bash realistic games because they are "fad" gamers, meaning they are obsessed with Halo & GTA.
Whall I do like those types of games as well i also like to play more realistic games.
I was a big fan of ArmA but it's broken gameplay made it frustrating. Most of the decent reception on a 'Realistic' shooter comes from hardcore community members like us people who get into the game a little deeper and come with patience supplied.
