hi i have been playin since it came out and recently installed ravenshield to give it a few more hours...i have been palying crysis rainbow vegas. graw 2 but all still lack relistic gameplay....

when i baught vegas i was expecting ravenshield 2 i was expecting 70+ guns no health bars all this leaning on corners(how can i see a person round a corners without my charachter physicly seeing them) it would appear that rainbow went mainstreem...the new recons and rainbows are for kids............but yet everyone plays them i remeber thousands of players on raven Shield now its 60 if your lucky....wtf happened

Most players quit playing. Hacking most likely will ruin all games. Plus many players went to other games.

I feel your pain. Check "Thoughts on returning to a more simulation style game" in the Vegas 2 forum for ideas an how to bring the glory back.

I left RvS for GRAW1 & 2 but I've never really been satisfied with either of them. R6 definitely went mainstream & I'm forever saddened about that. The reality is, that the percentage of us that want a more realistic game are just not a big enough slice of the pie in the scheme of things.

I've haven't RVS since 2 months ago and I haven't seen any hacking activitys. Simply no one plays it anymore because they have moved on to newer games like COD 4.

I've found that when I get on the counter is at 200+ players. I stopped playing the game to venture off into other things for a year or so... but I've since decided to try the game again and love it again.

I'm always playing these days under the name JuggaloEnforcer. Recently I've been playing on the Unity Makes Strength server (I think that's the correct name).

I personally ONLY play COOP and wont play Advers. So I really can't speak for the advers side of the house... but as I see it, COOP is always busy.

I cant ever get logged onto ubi.com anymore, which is complete horse sht because I really miss the coop.

Have you tried logging in through the game and not the direct ubi.com program? If you are going through the game (main menu -> Multiplayer) then create a new account?

Yes I've tried both ways, even tried all seeing eye and still wants me to log in. Why should I create a new account. Its obviously not the problem as I'm here logged into these very forums.

It actually might be the problem as my log in here seems to be different than in-game. I was the other way around (unable to log in here with my in-game info).

First try creating a new account (to rule that possibility out) then you can try something else (ie. re-installing).

Most of the people seem to be having the issue with the "Play it on Ubi" feature. There's still a good 200 people playing at peak hours (2am last night had 65 or so)... so they're still getting on.

Me, I had recently did a re-install from my discs so I have a completely fresh folder. Maybe make sure to go through and delete some of the custom maps you wont be playing and getting rid of all of the mods you might have downloaded (if you don't want to try the re-install first).

Me and a few friends still play Raven Shield across a LAN, however I've long since lost my serial so I can't return to the online community.
I was considering contacting Ubi about a new key but I think the only solution would be to buy a new copy, which I ain't going to do for such an old game.

Now I can only live in hope that Ubi find some common sense and create RS2 instead of this Vegas ****.

Around 11AM EST to ~2-3PM EST look for the bp server on RvS.

It's the Black Pearls clan, and they are a bunch of good guys.(I'm not a member of their clan, but I've played on their server a lot before)

What's so unrealistic about the GRAW games (PC)? I haven't played them, just asking.

Games get old after time. I think alot of us raven shield fans are just looking for a new good game to play. There are loads of game better than raven shield, Ie bf2, cod4.

What we are waiting for is for the raven shield gameplay to improve. Better physics, graphics, tactics, more players, more objectives, maps.

Rogue spear and add ones, Ghost recon, Raven shield were some of the best game ever made. To bad Ubisoft went and made consol games out of the names and ruined them.
Hell I would even buy them again if they took the same story lines, game play and just updated the graphics and animations. These new game are for the ADHD crowd and their mammas money. Really a shame to, we put them on the map and they screwed the pc playes.

Yep, I wished also they just take Raven Shield, improve on graphics and physics and then bring it out for the PC as Raven Shield 2. That should be easy money for Ubisoft...

I'm going to install Raven Shield again. I'm curious on how it looks.

EDIT: Just played the first mission and the game doesn't look to bad. I would even dare to say it looks as good as Vegas.

We are still a bunch playing RVS online. The [SAS]22nd- evr has a full server everyday, And there is BIA, Cobraops, TATclan....plenty clans runs good coop servers. LogIn and have fun with one of the best games ever.....

I still have to wait 3 weeks until this damn internship ends to get back home so I can get my CD back. I'll be able to play Raven Shield again!!!
I'm so bored with vegas1-2, this makes me appreciate the "old days"

I'm not normally a forum dweller but I enjoy the hell out the Rainbow Six games from the original up to Raven Shield. I started playing RS some more expecting the community to be nonexsistant but it seems there's still a pulse for these awesome games. There's usually a good number of servers and players up for an aging game. I agree with most that anything post R63 isn't Rainbow at all. Just maybe ubisoft will stop making arcade style crap and pickup where they left off with Raven Shield and it's expansions and make a worthy Rainbow title again.

Would you be interested by an Iron Wrath Coop 24h/7 server???
