after i bought the cd, how i get the cd key?

Mine was on the inside of the CDROM case.

I had this problem - I bought it - No CD Key on disk or packaging - I had to send an e-mail with a copy of Receipt to the sales dept at the CD Distributer in my case (PCGAMER) They sent me replies next day complete with the 3 CD Keys I needed. Hope this Helps

well, i now reinstalled Rainbow Six Raven Shield and Athena Sword because i want to play online again. but now by trying to connect to a server "he" asks me for the Raven Shield CD-Key, and i type the one being in the booklet of Athena Sword, because i cannot find the one for the "main Raven Shield". do i have to use the CD-Key from the "main Raven Shield"?

Yes, you need the RvS key.

I got my version of Raven Shield free with a piece of hardware i purchased for my CPU. lol, i don't know if there much chance of me retrieving my CD key.

It doesn't matter if you purchased it outright or if it came bundled with hardware that you purchased. You should still have a Cd key somewhere. I would contact the manufacturer of the hardware the game came bundled with, and also the retailer where you bought it from. Tell them there is no CD key with your copy of RvS. They should be able to help.

is it the code in the form RVS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX ??????
this is the only numher i can find on or in the CD, CD case or booklet and it doesnt work
I entered it before and it worked fine...now it asks for the CD key when i try to play multiplayer only
any help would be appreciated

Yep, if it starts with RVS then it's the Raven Shield CD key. Athena Sword keys start with ASW. Iron Wrath keys start with WRT.

After the first 3 characters in the CD key, there will not be any ‘I’, ‘O’, ‘S’, or ‘Z’ alphabetical characters."

Hi, my friend has just got the game and he cannot go on multiplayer servers it comes up with the message saying "invalid cd key" i have looked on the link that you left above for the latest patches but i dont know witch one he needs to download and if he could still play me on 1.0 could you help?? You need the 1.0 - 1.60 patch for your language version if you want to play online. Most servers are running this version.

If he is getting the invalid cd key error, he's probably not typing the key in correctly. You need to use the dashes. The proper format is RVS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Case does not have any effect.

Hi, i have a similar problem to this... I have the Raven Shield CD Key and have been playing the game several years. I now want to play online and when it asks for the cd key i put it in (its on the last page of manual) ut everytime it says my cd key is invalid... ive tried it in both capitals and non capitals and im definetley imputting the correct code. Any idea why it wont work?

hi i have the raven shield game and i cant find my cd manual . i cant findit any where . all of the other games that are being hosted it just says the server did not respond., there are only about 10 in white the other games are all grayed out. it says i have a different version. does ny 1 know where i can get this other version!! thn x

p.s if u need to update from a fresh install you will be currently using v1.0 so you will need the patch

To find out which version you have load up RvS and on the main page where it says "campaign" "multiplayer" etc look in the bottom right hand corner, a little white number will tell you which version you have.

i purchased the game and i could not go online its said 'invalid cd key' bow i bought another one and it work now.

Ok my question is, what is this patch going to do to help besides update our game?
