I'm only looking for people who can actually go onto the game right now and have a look to see if people are online. I need facts, people.

I won't flame you for your obvious over-the-top console/respawn position taken in another thread, but simply address your lack of knowledge of the series:

1) Rogue Spear and the related expansions including Black Thorn do not have respawns.
2) Next to no one is playing RS online anymore anyway except a few hard core players.
3) Lockdown was DOA and no one is playing it and Vegas 1 & Vegas 2 are fastly tracking that time of death as their online MP is absolutely horrible. I know I unfortunately own both of them (gifts).

R6 series, no matter how much they have been whored by UBI will never be a great respawn game, thee are too many better options out there.

NOOOO. Well Rogue Spear doesn't even work on XP so I've given up on that, I played it for like 5 minutes and it sucked anyway. However, Raven Shield had too much potential to be the best game ever, but now it's the worst game ever because of no respawn. Why was Lockdown DOA? I've played Single Player and it was really good, definatly up the top with Raven Shield (Single Player, multiplayer sucks cause no respawn). I went on some of the maps on the LAN bit of Lockdown and they all look really fun and I'm sure it was probably a great online experience with respawn... Was it just because it was too laggy/buggy? If it was traded places with CoD4/5 online then it would definatly be as popular as CoD4/5.

Ubi took down the Letdown servers a long time ago, so there is no PC online play.

Rogue Spear does work on XP. I've been playing it for four years on XP and still have it installed as of today. Works fine here mate.

& based on your other respawn loving comments you clearly are a console or respawn cry baby which begs the Q why you would even be in a PC legacy forum for a game that never featured respawn prior to its downfall.

AYE! Counter Strike is good, don't diss Counter Strike or you've got me to deal with. Now, all I was asking was "Do people still play Lockdown or Vegas 2 ONLINE?", I'm just expressing my opinion on the matter that having no respawn in games is bad, and it really ruins games... Having respawn in games makes games. I mean, you still haven't told me why Lockdown was DOA.. Was it because it was buggy/laggy? I highly doubt it was just generally because it was a bad game, because it wasn't. Let's all just calm down, and chill... (and answer the question.. about Lockdown.. why it was DOA..)

P.S Yes, I USED TO like consoles, but ever since my Xbox 360 got RRoD I think they now suck.. except PS3 cause MGS4 is cool. But if someone gave me Vegas 2 on PS3 for free then I'd play it. But I'm not buying another console game for a long time, I'm trying to become a full time PC gamer, cause PC ownz j00.

Lockdown - known afflictionately as LetDown - was DOA because for the core fan group which was still more titled toward tactical shooter at that time instead of twitch shooter it was a gross misrepresentation of all things R6.

Even if you never played R6 before and had no casual interest in staying true to the groundwork of the series, as a stand alone game it sucked because the AI is really, really bad. I mean really freaking bad as in a step back from what the AI did in previous iterations of the brand.

On top of that it was the sign of the times if you will that swept out the tactical shooters from the series and brought in the twitch shooters who love the Vegas 1&2 style of having to restart/join a MP match every time the freaking round ends.

Well, I was one of the people who didn't like Lockdown when it first came out because everyone used to play Rainbow Six Black Arrow on Xbox so it was a big difference between the two. However, if you don't compare Lockdown to Rainbow Six then it's actually a very entertaining game. But yes, Rainbow Six's gameplay was much better, and someone should make the same games on the same engine and just update the graphics a bit. AND ADD RESPAWN! But I understand about why Lockdown would have been DOA now. So thank you.

I would like to point out the fact, that the "hardcore players" you speak of playing RS online still are not hardcore at all. In fact the majority of them are Tango Hunt players and a few scrubs that rounded out clans rosters. I'm R6_SilentEffect from RS, if you play Vegas 1 or 2 on the 360 look me up, I'm Johnny Gotti on xbox live.

Some people still playing R6 lockdown but now there is not so much players because we can see the servers only over friendlist. I hope ubi will repair it
