Down? Gone? Terminated? We couldn't play Saturday night, and it would appear that no one else could because the server browser was completely empty. Key's were entered multiple times, always rejected. Plain old RvS still worked fortunately, but if Iron Wrath is gone, who knows how long it would be before RvS gets the boot as well.

Yeah what's up with that, we weren't sure what the problem was. Is there any official word from UBI on this? Has it been put back up yet? When we played this week we just launched RVS straight away and didn't even try Iron Wrath. Is this still an issue, or heaven forbid is this the end of online Iron Wrath for good?

Still DEAD, can't even play MP with Hamachi. If you're going to stop supporting a game, at least patch it to remove the copy protection crap!

Yeah, still unable to play Iron Wrath on a server / make a server. It's really a big shame if Ubi has gone and suddenly stopped supporting a game. I'm really a huge fan of the RvS games and losing Iron Wrath is a sad thing if this really is final. I can't imagine that running an authentication server would take any resources at all, though. And seeing that other RvS games still work, it's even more stranger.

I'm really looking forward to getting an answer from Ubi to this matter (yeah, I know, no chance of that happening I guess but one can always hope).

has anyone tried the Athena Sword to see if it is still working? i wish i had it installed so i could try it my self. but yeah if they are going to stop supporting a game.

they need to patch it so it does not need the cd key to play it. hell they should turn the game over to game sites that could host it so people could down load and play for free.

but they won't do some thing like that. they are to greedy for our money. they will charge you for a game that could not be played any more.

but like the person before me said. did some one call them to let them know this and what could or can be done about it?

So what I have done is started to port over the IR maps directly to Ravenshield.

With a bit of messing around with the IR Map ini files Ravenshield will happily run the maps under a LAN / Internet server.

I am not to sure if a “How To” would sit too well in this forum so if you need to get some of maps to run (Not tested ;virus upload ;free back up ;intruder ;gaz alert ;limited seats) as CoOp Terror Hunts, Missions and Hostage Rescues.

I will happily share what I have done and how to get the maps to work under Ravenshield servers if you want to play the IR maps.

Yeah. I got the IronWrath maps ported over to AthenaSword. Sure they will work under RavenShield too. I, too, havent tried the different game modes that were new in IW, but I do know the sounds, textures, music and such work. The weapons Im still working on, but that may be tougher than just a map file. Any ideas?

I really dont understand why the fans need an UBI server to authenticate through anyways. This game is 6 years old. Do they really need the money that bad? Its kind of like the gun ban. There are going to be bad guys anyway. Just take the auth server offline and move onto newer games. Let the fans keep playing this. I would never buy an UBI game if they dropped all support for playing this game online with your friends. Thats just destroying fun.

And thats why I play this game. =(

Come on UBI patch this so we can play again. Pretty please? You must have a couple code monkeys that aren't doing anything real important right now, let them fix it. It's really cruel to give us a free expansion and then yank it away.
