I used to play RS on mplayer as NathBDP (maybe I used the name Kep too, I forgot)

Ring a bell to anyone? This must have been around 99-2000 timeframe.

Names I remember, Razor Knife, Solid Snake, beaner (who had to change name because mplayer found it offensive), and others I wish I could remember.

We played ladder matches under a bunch of different clan names the one I remember was BDP (Beat Down Posse). Also I remember HDA, s@n.

Curious if anyone remembers. That was some of the funnest game time ever.

Hello everybody, Axion_Zero here . Originally SD_Sniper, then Axion_Zer0o/Zero, then finally mxm_pak and of course back to Axion_pak/Zero until the death of Rogue Spear, lol. For any of you that remember I am Axion_Demo's brother. We (Axion) all played on the zone and were from the same area. So Axion_Evol and Axion_Neo for those of you who remember are still alive and well. We all play Xbox 360 now, non-competitively unlike when we were 16 years old playing Rogue Spear for entire seasons and always having fun. For all of those who remember me, HOLLA! A lot of names look familiar on here, I hope everyone is well. A lot has changed since those hot summers of non-stop RS. Playing Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) against other respectable, talented clans for 8 hours, lol. Well if anyone for whatever reason is trying to get in touch with me, my name is "Che Escobar" on XboxLIVE, send me a message. As for Axion_BucK and Axion_Brandon if you guys happen to stumble upon this threat definitely find your way to an Xbox and holler. Axion_Rukus and Axion_Five are going to school in your homestate BucK and Brandon. And Demo and I would love to catch up on the years that we haven't talked with you two.

Sup many people might know me from many different names from a clan called HTD to vermin to AtrosiouCe and inly QuickFire yes i was an OGN admin... unfair i guess. but so was many admin that were in clan... i been in so many top 1 to 5 clan i cant even remember... i stoped playing 7 years ago... i current looked it up and foudn that zone band RS UO CO an BT, very sad,as those were prolly the best games every made, i currently play COD4 5 prett much sucks thank to tyrent or w/e I think RS would rule again if remade for 360 but in a more fast pased game liek COD4 is, and unlike its current R6 games which are very slow and ungraphics compaired to even COD3 let alone 4... i think alot fo RS gamers would love the renew of the game in a modern day game wit COD4 gfx and game play speed.... RS and those was a landmark for first person shooters for awhile.. and yet still out played most new game untill taken off the MSN Zone for what reason i dunno is still unclear... but if anyone remembers me and i know if you was around in Clan Ladders or OGN ladder you will.. contact me quickfire84@gmail.com.... i play mostly COD4 5 sucks imo..... so hope to hear from some of you old skool RS UO CO BT'ers soon....

I played on the original Mplayer myself, Roguespear, Urban Ops, Covert Ops.
Originally i was DFA MuleSkinner, ld was DFA Doc_Bud, then went to Clan MEAN. Connections were crap back then for hosting unless you had a t1, i hosted some pretty mean servers for awhile using a symetrical sdsl line. [PECK], MEAN, NSS(Cobra, ViOlator), STARS, ahh i remember Ghosty who had a mean co-op server weeeee.. i would really have to dig deep in my old brain to recall more and if i did so i could have a stroke, so better not.
It's funny that this thread has spanned over a few years. Not sure what ever happened to MEAN MEL, or DOC_BUD, [PECK] went on to Americas Army ,I played with them for a while.. they have a good bunch over there, but life takes us in different directions sometimes. Anyhow, hope all are well.

loved the rs days..laddering drunk as hell...i used to steal my parents liquor and make myself take a drink if i died. is there still a place to play? i dont have the game anymore..but i think it would be fun to dip into it for bit.
