I never lost under NvS_Spoony and only after then did I join CQC so im not sure if you have the right person at all. However just after tards got recruited into NvS, I quickly quit along with a few others because I didn't want to be apart of a clan with a guy named eXcaliBur in it (a known cheater at the time imo). I met two really nice people, husband and wife I believe at the time and thought... man wouldn't it be cool to take a bunch of newbs in a newbiesh clan and train them to play good... and they improved alot.. some went on to join rank 10+ clans... Im sure some play even to this day.

Back to the point im trying to make... if I lost, how could I possibly have a 100% record? Then possibly describe how I lost when I didn't? During those days I would wait all night long until someone ate my C4 or breach than lose a game.

I was recently playing the COD4 beta and omg its good. Can't wait for the full release... 2 weeks time. Very similar to counterstrike but with "perks".

I play mainly on the Xbox360 under SpoonyPizzas gamertag. Prefer the X360... 0 cheaters... but you do get some glitchers but its kinda obvious.

Fluid sucked up to Neotek pretty hard... you worshipped him like some sort of God. Then I joined your room... someone you hadn't heard of at the time and got his respect. Asked me to join AIM, but when I played with you and Fusion I realised it was a bit of a tard clan and said "no". He kept talking about me and kept trying to get me to join over and over and I guess you felt left out? I have no idea why he asked you to join... that always puzzled me... Fusion had a good host.. well sort of lol.. like DSL at the time... OMG 2MBYITTEEZZZZ!!?!?! But you? What did you have that impressed him? Did you USE to have a good hosting ability? lol. Waiting to go back to school to use it?

Hi Fearless! Glad to see your still alive. You were one of the first to chat up F2B_Laracroft i believe. lol. Her and Lightning. That **** was so jealous...quite funny when we matched up and she thought she was being second best to another girl ;o, started getting *****y. She was quite good for a real girl player though.

I remember playing Blackout, Homer and someone else under hidden names... in clan 'Reborn'. lol... I believe it was Killarat, Prototype, RK, Unforgiven and a few others.

Perc wasn't good imo, a good leader who kept HDA together. Think he had a good server if i remember rightly.

I also remember when X reversed their names and had different personalities and watching Vex trying to be mean instead of the nice guy he always was lol. "X - N e X e V"

One of my fav moments was training up a guy, a complete newbie.. he had the game for a day and me and Vex trained him up day after day... he had a OC3 connection lol... quite scary how similar he played to Vex and myself.. when playing against him he had all the same type of body movement... and sometimes I think it would be Vex but he didn't quite have the aim to headshot or the speed of thought to pull off C4 tricks on the fly. Sadly he had to leave because he was dying. Sad thing is i can't quite remember his name.

But... RIP whoever you were. A really nice guy, and thats the most important thing.

Sorry spoony but I think you are thinking of the wrong perc because perception was a very good player with a singles record to prove it, he also had a very bad connection and would have me host his 1v1 matches. I speced him 1v1 on several occasions and give him credit for a few of the tricks I picked up along the way.

Geez. Spoony, you can go on forever on old memories! this was what, 8-10 years ago? and you get that defensive when someone seays that you lost once or twice or they want to say they beat you? man, I'd hate to see you on a bad day!

last time I check when I played (it's been a while) but if there was a dispute, you would "Fight" for bragging rights. here, we have someone saying that they were "Perfect" as it were...undefeated, 100%, flawless. someone else saying that you weren't. who gives a flying F*#@ who says what? Man up and take it to the battle ground and show him what you are. anyone can bragg and say whatever they want.

This is a call out! I believe you were perfect when I was playing. not that you knew me, but I got around and I wasn't that bad...no where near as good as you, but that's another story. if someone wants to dispute how good you were or your record, Challenge them. if they back down, then well, I don't think you have much to worry about.

Ok, sorry SS, maybe he was the wrong guy, altho when I talk about good players im talking top 20 in the world, also players who develope and stuck it out. I remember only a handful of us knew F1 at the time. lol. Then came CV... so it was easier for people to have an advantage at those times... its not until a year or so did a few stand out quite clearly all for different reasons and purposes when everyone was on an even battlefield. IMO!!!

As for memories.. this is surely what its about, the fun moments, nice people, people that died during RS (RIP all), moments that stood out most.

RS is the only game I ever took seriously and tried to get good at... so its hard to feel the same way about any other game tbh. A few days ago I played my brothers RS version and i was like omg... I spent hours playing this? lmfao.. its quite sad when you've been playing a X360 or Counterstrike and look back... lol. Wish I hadn't, but i'll always know back in the day it was a good game with a fantastic community. You just don't get that on Xbox Live or anywhere else tbh.

Don't mean to sound rude Spoony, and I do remember you were good. But, camping with c4 isn't in anyway skillful.

I'd have to agree with Reko (if that's what you really did). Camping has never been my thing. I like the hunting. it takes skill to walk into a room with a widowmaker and take out your enamies without taking one your self. I held a solid 75+ when I played on Mplayer as Ootfang (yeah, stupid name, but it's all I could come up with when I was 14...it was my cats name). And, I never camped. I sucked with a sniper rifle and door charges were something good for missions, not 1+1 play. Flags and Flash bangs on the other hand, now THOSE were cool.

It's great to conjur up all the old memories from the years and years I played RS for, however for every good memory, I have a dozen which comprise of irritating kids (the majority of which were that pretentious, arrogant American type which were so common) cheating and l33t talking their way through game after game.

The amount of cheating in that game was unreal to a point where you could pretty much guarantee the majority of the top 10 on CL had some form of cheat or other.

So to all the clans that made the game a pleasure such as snaps, DWD, Sixpag, Swefor and pretty much the majority of Swedish/German contingent, I thank you.

To you old schoolers who always sucked or cheated: you should play RS now because, with a few exceptions, those still playing are pretty horrible.
