New RS should be old RS with updated graphics new death sceens an enviorments an weapons kits ect.....Havent played a single Ubisoft RS game since Raven sheild.going to try vagas hoping it will be like what I use to play.

This line had gotten so far away from the game i loved in R6, RS, and UO that I stopped playing/buying them. Hoping that it gets back to its roots and I can get back to the gg's all of us old hands used to enjoy.

It's not the same anymore... still the same lobby tarding, but everybody is gone... pretty much, and it's really ****ing boring other than playing the game. What's up with me and the "..."? u should play on zone.com before the servers on rouge spear and the origenal game shut down its better then gamespy
Heh! I'm still around, as is Mekhazzio, whom anyone that remembers the old Rogue Spear forums I'm sure loved to hate. Good times, those.. here's another one hoping the Rainbow Six line goes back to it's roots. Rogue Spear is still the best squad shooter I've played.

krazie - you really missed out on the fun in the zone ladder room. All the MPlayer guys coming over was kind of the turning point for the whole community and in retrospect really marked the peak of the community's greatness. After Rogue Spear, we all split up. Some went to Battlefield 2(like me and last I checked TFS was still active with some of the guys from TNG), America's Army, Raven Shield, and Ghost Recon

My name was =Venom= TVS. we were number one on mplayer for 60 straight days... we dominated soon after HDA... we were also the only clan to beat s@n on mplayer, even though they managed to keep it off their record lol. anyway if anyone here remembers me give me a shout at Matt8120 on AIM.

i used to play in the zone...sniper strike to be exact. i went by DodgeThis,Dodge, etc. i randomly found my RS disk today and it made me go looking for old friends. hell, i'm trying to remember my old clans. as far as i can figure the big ones were td, 617, war and leg. **** if i know...its been quite some time.
i played RS wayyyyyyy back in the day on the zone (sniper strike). my name was dodge or dodgethis...depending on my clan situation. as far as i can remember, my big-time clans were TD, 617, war and Leg. thats all i can remember but there were a ton. i think i played for 4+ years when the zone was really big.

Madman stfu newb. Supafly and Venom are definitly old rogue spear players. I still remember the release date in the UK for Rogue Spear, it was October :O lol. Come play RS_Bunkers on my CS Server. I got City Street Large and Killhouse also. Addy is above on my last post. Whoever re-made those maps did pretty well. The bots dont do well with the stairs But it is a blast from the past.

my old buddy Virulent (EMPIRE, ATF) was in town last nite (nyc) and we reminisced for a while about the golden age of gaming. ive played sports and had plenty of hobbies my entire life... im an animator now at nyu... but i can definitly say that rogue spear was the most fun time of my life... lotta good memories.

&btw rogue spear is still alive with about 100 active players-- for those who miss it. Cya on Game Spy Arcade, theres a ladder w. a pretty nice anti-cheat.

I know hes not a newbie Blitz, just didn't like his attitude towards players because he hasn't heard of them... and i do recognise his name because I played on Zone also. I also know you a little bit, so i'll say hi, hows it going?
As for returning to RS... no thanks. RS is a great game, I made some great friends and had alotta fun it was almost like a 2nd life but its already consumed more of my life than i would've liked.
HOWEVER, i have an X360 and i know its coming out on the PC as well, and your probably aware as any Rogue Spear fan was/is... of the upcoming game Rainbox Six: Vegas, the multiplayer vid's ive seen look VERY smooth and definitly worth checking out, seems to have gone back to the Rogue Spear gameplay with alot of nice new additions and lets just hope it lives up to expectations.
But it is a blast from the past.
