When I play Raven Shield I usually spend minimal time on Planning and go start the mission as soon as possible. I usually don't set waypoints in the Planning. I prefer to see the action as it happens. But sometimes if I see a room full of hostiles or a room with hostages, I'd like to plan it out while on the fly. For example, prior to entering a room full of hostiles/hostages I'd like to get the 2nd team to burst open one entrance while I open another entrance with the other team. So I'd like to have the 2nd team go to the hostile entrance, then wait for my order to open the door at the same time I enter another door with the other team. First of all is this possible to do? If so, I would imagine doing it with a waypoint & then issuing a Go order. Can this be done while "on the fly" (without setting it up in the Planning stages)?

I don't believe you can set a waypoint on the fly, but if I remember right, you can issue orders on the fly.

So how would I be able to issue an order to a 2nd team to open a door to a room full of hostiles/hostages while I'm with the 1st team and I want to open another door to the same room at the exact same time?

I can do this within 1 team but I'm not sure how to do it with 2 teams. Within 1 team, I go to one door and issue the order to "Open & Clear" upon Zulu. I then individually go to the other door. When I'm ready to enter, I issue the Zulu Go code to make the team enter and then at the same time I enter my door so we enter the room simultaneously at 2 different points and clear it. I tried doing this with 2 teams but the Zulu Go action only works with one team (the team you're currently on). So even if you set up a "Open & Clear" upon Zulu within a certain team, if you switch to another team those orders no longer work (a Zulu Go action would only work with the team that you're on).

So again, how can you set up 1 team to enter a door while you're about to enter another door with a different team? In effect I want 2 teams to enter 2 different points of a room and clear it simultaneously. Is this even possible?

While I do have Raven Shield, I am unfamiliar with anything with it. I have only played for about 10 minutes and that is about it. The only thing I can recommend is using HQs plan and issuing the Go Codes when appropriate.

I wish I could help more and if more isn't forthcoming here, you could try at Aggression, a R6 fansite with forums for Raven Shield.
