Hi guys, A looooooong time ago I played RVS online but couldnt for now because my new notebook (It has a FireGL VGA and dont run the old Unreal engine). I still damn miss the matches like in good old days and thinking of owning a new system to play it. So, should I wait for my next machine or is the community still alive? - an old fan ^^
I can't even log on anymore, getting all kind of BS messages about being registered or not.
I still play the game because I enjoy the campaign so much, but the facts are it is dead. Everyone is playing Vegas 1/2 now, and soon enough I'll catch up with them lol.
Actually, we are still playing Athena Sword every Wednesday. Our own server has been up for as long as RvS's been on the marked (even for RS: rouge spear). And we are still the same group ( now counting about 30 old timers ). Have never found a game that's remotely as good as RvS. What statistics server are You guys using?
Really? People still play Athena Sword? The last time I saw it populated to any extent was in 2007. I only see a few random people on a passworded server and less than a dozen empty servers left.
Raven Shield's numbers have been dropping off, too. It barely peaks at 200 players anymore. Most of time, it sits under 200 at peak times. I remember when it once peaked at 300, even 400 concurrent players.
... i am so glad that we still have terro hunt left, snif. and btw, vegas2 lots fun too. not as back rvs but the best mp out now in my opinion .
