Hello.
I have completed the Rogue Spear - Urban Operations mission pack's campaign, and would like to try the custom missions (terrorist hunt etc).

I click the Custom Mission option on the main menu, select the mission I want, and get taken to the planning windows, and can make my selections (team, gear, mission plan etc) as usual. But when I click the "Execute Mission" button I get taken back to the main menu. This happens every time, it is a loop.

I contacted UBI Tech Support but they reply "the issue you are having is related to general gameplay hints and tips that is either covered in the manual, or is available via another source such as the Ubisoft forums".

Has anyone experienced this problem or have an idea?

I'm experiencing the exact same thing. My copy allows me to play the UO mission pack and also the classic missions, but the rogue spear missions boot me back to the main menu; the briefing menu doesn't even get a chance to load. And that's in addition to not being able to play custom missions; it loads up the briefing, kit, and planning menus, but like teamplayer1958 said, as soon as you click "Execute Mission", it boots back to the main menu.

Honestly, it's been a real pain for a while now, and I have no idea why it's happening- aside from the fact that it's almost obviously a problem with vista. Anyone who could help would be appreciated!

Do you have the game patched?

I never played UO under Vista so cannot advise to that, but can say with certainty that playing RS, UO & CO in Windows XP you can do all of the mission modes without issue.

Could be a game patch issue (if not patched) or yet another Vista hates video games issue. Sorry.
