I need to know the correct patching sequence in order to be able to play both RVS and Athena Sword through the custom game option without having a version mismatch.
I have the orginal RVS and original AS so I have to patch from scratch so to speak so here is what I have: 1. Install Raven Shield 2. Patch 1.00 to 1.10 3. Patch 1.10 to 1.20 4. Patch 1.20 to 1.30 5. Patch 1.30 to 1.31 6. Patch 1.31 to 1.40 7. Patch 1.40 to 1.41 8. Patch 1.41 to 1.50 9. Patch 1.50 to 1.51 10. Patch 1.51 to 1.52 11. Patch 1.52 to 1.53 12. Patch 1.53 to 1.54 13. Install Athena Sword At this point game install will be RVS 1.54 and AS 1.00 and the games can be switched through Custom Game in the options area. All is good. Then... 14. Patch 1.54 to 1.55 RVS 15. Patch 1.55 to 1.56 RVS 16. Patch 1.00 to 1.02 AS 17. Patch 1.56 to 1.60 RVS I did not receive any patch warnings at all following 14-17 but now in custom game AS shows as a version mismatch. I can play RVS just fine, I just cannot play AS. Where did I go wrong? |

Reinstall both.
First RvS and patch to 1.60 right off the bat. Then install AS and immediately patch it to 1.10. I have the fifth freedom... so watch out, here I come Originally registered July 17, 2002 |

Thanks man.
Leave it UBI to leave the most important patch of the process - AS 1.10 - out of their list of patches. I had to go to FilePlanet to get it. |
