So I bought R6 3 Gold on Steam, and was able to get 3 people on a LAN server with the same CD key. First I screwed up the Gsrouters file on the host machine, then I had my friend joined. (This was actauly an idea I got from Ubi support). A few minutes later however, my brother randomly joined without any trouble.

Does the CD Key server randomly drop records? Why do they check CD keys on LAN anyway?

Anyone have a clue why it worked?
